ruceLeehasgreatlyinfluencedAmericanandChinesemovieculture.ThroughKongFumovies,hebecamethefirstspreaderofChineseKongFuandpropelledarevolutioninChineseandAmericanmovies.3.1.1InfluenceonKongFumovieMartialArtswasagenreofmoviesthatmadeitsappearanceinAmericaonlywhenBruceLeetookthestage.Beforehistime,therewerentmanyAsianAmericansinfluencingthefilmindustrytomakemartialartsamajorgenre(MartialArtistandMovieStarBruceLee).Thiswasprimarilyduetothefactthatnotmanyhadhistypeofstatureandpopularityinsociety.ThispopularityexistedonlyduetoLeesattempttoshowAmericanswhathewascapableofthroughthecreationofthreefilmsinChina,TheBigBoss,FistsofFury,andWayoftheDragon.AllthreeofthesewereabighitnotonlyinChinabutlaterinEuropeandAmerica.ItwaswiththecreationofWayoftheDragonthatWarnerbegantorealizethattheonlywaytoprofitfromthegrowingmartialartsgenrewaswiththestarringofBruceLee(BruceLeethecelebratedlifeofthegoldendragon).Notlongafter,LeebeganfilmingEntertheDragonwithWarnerandGoldenHarvest.ThiswasLeesfirstbig-budgetmartialartsfilminHollywoodwhichsweptthenationinapandemoniumofwannabemartialartists
