-1-毕业设计(论文)外文资料翻译系别:机电信息系专业:机械设计制造及其自动化班级:姓名:学号:附件:1.原文;2.译文2013年03月-2-TheintrodutionoftheInjectionMold1.Moldbasicknowledge1.1IntroductionThereisacloserelationshipwithallkindsofmold,whicharereferedtoourdailyproduction,andlifeintheuseofthevarioustoolsandproducts,thelargebaseofthemachinetool,thebodyshell,thefirstembryotoasmallscrews,buttons,aswellasvarioushomeappliancesshell.Moldsshapedeterminetheshapeoftheseproducts,moldsprecisionandmachiningqualitydeterminethequalityoftheseproducts,too.Becauseofavarietyofproducts,appearance,specificationsandthedifferentuses,molddevideintoDieCastingintothemould,dieforging,die-castingmould,Die,andsoonothernon-plasticmolds,aswellasplasticmold.Inrecentyears,withtherapiddevelopmentoftheplasticsindustry,andGMandengineeringplasticsinareassuchasstrengthandaccuracyofthecontinuousenhancement,thescopeoftheapplicationofplasticproductshavealsoconstantlyexpanded,suchas:householdappliances,instrumentation,constructionequipment,automotive,dailyhardware,andmanyotherfields,theproportionofplasticproductsisrapidlyincreasing.Arationaldesignofplasticpartsoftencanreplacemuchmoretraditionalmetalpieces.Thetrendofindustrialproductsanddailyproductsplasticedisrisingdayafterday.1.2MoldgeneraldefinitionIntheindustrialproduction,withthevariouspressandthespecialinstrumentswhichinstalledinthepress,itproducestherequiredshapepartsorproductsthroughpressureonthemetalornon-metallicmaterials,thisspecialinstrumentscollectivelycallasthemold.1.3MoldgeneralclassificationMoldcanbedividedintoplasticandnon-plasticmould:(1)Non-plasticmould:DieCasting,forgingDie,Die,die-castingmouldandsoon.A.DieCasting-taps,pigironplatformB.ForgingDie-carbodyC.Die-computerpanelD.DieCastingDie-superalloy,cylinderbody(2)Fortheproductiontechnologyandproduction,theplasticmoldaredividedintodifferentproducts:A.Injectionmoldingdie-TVcasing,keyboardbutton(themostcommonapplication)B.Inflatablemodule-drinkbottlesC.Compressionmoldingdie-bakeliteswitches,scientificCiwandishD.Transfermoldingdie-ICproductsE.Extrusiondie-ofglue,plasticbagsF.Hotformingdie-transparentshellmoldingpackagingG.Rotomouldingmode-Flexibletoydoll.InjectionMoldingisthemostpopurlarmethodinplasticsproducingprocess.Themethodcanbeappliedtoallpartsofthermoplasticandsomeofthermosettingplastics,thequantityofplasticproductionismuchmorethananyother-3-formingmethod.Injectionmoldasoneofthemaintoolsofinjectionmoldingprocessing,whoshproductionefficiencyisloworhighinthequalityofprecision、manufacturingcycleandtheprocessofinjectionmoldingandsoon,directlyaffectthequalityofproducts,production,costandproductupdates,atthesametimeitalsodeterminesthecompetitivenessofenterprisesinthemarketsresponsecapacityandspeed.InjectionMoldconsistsofanumberofplatewhichmasswiththevariouscomponentparts.Itdividedinto:Amoldingdevice(Die,punch)Bpositioningsystem(I.columnI.sets)Cfixtures(thewordboard,code-pit)Dcoolingsystem(carryingwaterhole)Ethermostatsystem(heatingtubes,thehotline)F-RoadSystem(jackTsuihole,flowslot,streamingRoadHole)Gejectionsystem(Dingzhen,topstick).1.4TypeofmoldItcanbedividedintothreecategoriesaccordingtogatingsystemwiththedifferenttypeofmold:(1)intakedie:Runnerandgateatthepartigline,itwillstriptogetherwithproductswhenintheopenmode,itisthemostsimpleofdesign,easyprocessingandlowercosting.Somorepeopleoperationsbyusinglargeintakesystem.(2)smallinletdie:Itgeneralstayintheproductsdirectly,butrunnerandgatearenotatthepartigline.Therefore,itshouldbedesignamulti-outletpartingline.Andthenitismorecomplexinthedesigning,moredifficultinprocessing,generallychosingthesmallinletdieisdependingontheproductsrequirements.(3)hotrunnerdie:Itconsistsofheatgate,heatrunnerplate,temperaturecontrolbox.Hotrunnermoldsaretwoplatemoldswithaheatedrunnersysteminsideonehalfofthemold.Ahotrunnersystemisdividedintotwoparts:themanifoldandthedrops.Themanifoldhaschannelsthatconveytheplasticonasingleplane,paralleltothepartingline,toapointabovethecavity.Thedrops,situatedperpendiculartothemanifold,conveytheplasticfromthemanifoldtothepart.Theadvantagesofhotrunnersystem:(1)Nooutletexpected,noneedprocessing,thewholeprocessfullyautomated,savetimeandenhancetheefficiencyofthework.(2)smallpressureloss.2、InjectionMoldTherearemanyrulesfordesigningmolds.Theserulesandstandardpracticesarebasedonlogic,pastexperience,convenience,andeconomy.Fordesigning,moldmaking,andmolding,itisusuallyofadvantagetofollowtherules.Butoccasionally,itmayworkoutbetterifaruleisignoredandanalternativewayisselected.Insometexts,themostcommonrulesarenoted,butthedesignerwilllearnonlyfromexperiencewhichwaytogo.Thedesignermusteverbeopentonewideasandmethods,tonewmoldingandmoldmaterialthatmayaffecttheserules.Theprocessconsistsoffeedingaplasticcompoundinpowderedorgranularform-4-fromahopperthroughmeteringandmeltingstagesandtheninjectingitintoamold.Injectionmoldingprocess:Moldisaproductionofplastictool.Itconsistsofseveralpartsandthisgroupcontainsformingcavities.Whenitinjectsmolding,moldclampingintheinjectionmoldingmachine,meltingplasticisInjectedformingcavitiesandcoolingstereotypesinit,thenitseparateupperandlowerdie,itwillpushtheproductionfromthecavityinordertoleavethemoldthroughejectionsystem,finallymoldcloseagainandpreparedthenextinjection.Theentireprocessofinjectioniscarriedoutofthecycle.Aninjectionmoldconsistsofatleasttwohalvesthatarefastenedtothetwoplatensoftheinjectionmoldingmachinesothatcanbeopenedandclosed.Intheclosedposition,theproduct-formingsurfacesofthetwomoldhalvesdefinethemoldcavityintowhichtheplasticmeltisinjectedviatherunnersystemandthegate.Coolingprovisionsinthemoldprovideforcoolingandsolidificationofthemoldedproductsothatitcanbesubsequentlyejected.Forproductejectiontooccur,themoldmustopen.Theshapeofthemoldedproductdetermineswhetheritcanbeejectedsimplybyopeningthetwomoldhalvesorwhetherundercutsmustbepresent.Thedesignofamoldisdictatedprimarilybytheshapeoftheproducttobemoldedandtheprovisionsnecessaryforproductejection.Injection-moldedproductscanbeclassifiedas:1).Productswithoutundercuts.2).productswithexternalundercutsoflateralopenings.3).productswithinternalundercuts.4).productswithexternalandinternalundercuts.3.Thecompositionofinjectionmold3.1MoldCavitySpaceThemoldcavityspaceisashapeinsidethemold,whenthemoldingmaterialisforcedintothisspaceitwilltakeontheshapeofthecavityspace.Ininjectionmoldingtheplasticisinjectedintothecavityspacewithhighpressure,sothemoldmustbestrongenoughtoresisttheinjectionpressurewithoutdeforming.3.2NumberofCavitiesManymolds,particularlymoldsforlargerproducts,atebuiltforonly1cavityspace,butmanymolds,especiallylargeproductionmolds,arebuiltwith2ormorecavities.Thereasonforthisispurelyeconomical.Ittakesonlylittlemoretimetoinjectseveralcavitiesthantoinjectone.Today,mostmulticavitymoldsarebuiltwithapreferrednumberofcavities:2,4,6,8,12,16,24,32,48,64,96,128.Thesenumbersareselectedbecausethecavitiescanbeeasilyarrangedinarectangularpattern,whichiseasierfordesigninganddimensioning,for
