This standard would be effective from March 1st, 2002. Among the standard, the items 3.1.1, 3.1.5, 3.2.3, 3.2.9, 3.3.4, 3.3.5, 4.1.12, 5.1.11, 6.1.12, 8.2.4, 8.3.4, 9.1.8, 9.1.13, 9.1.14 and 12.5.6 are mandatory, and must be observed strictly. At the same time, the original “Code for construction and acceptance of decoration engineering”(GBJ 210-83), “Code for construction and acceptance of building decoration” (JGJ 73-91), as well as Chapter 10 and 11 of “Evaluation standard for quality inspection of building engineering” (GBJ 301-88) would be repealed.The Construction Bureau would be responsible for the management of this standard, China Building Scientific Research Institute responsible for the detailed interpretation, and Construction Bureau Standard Rating Research Institute for organizing China Building Industry Press to publish and issue.Construction Bureau, the Peoples Republic of ChinaNovember, 1st, 2001Foreword This standard was established through the revision of “Code for construction and acceptance of building decoration” (JGJ 73-91) and “Evaluation standard for quality inspection of building engineering” (GBJ 301-88) by China Building Scientific Research Institute together with relevant departments, based on the requirements of “Notification on printing and distributing the plan for the formulation and revision of national engineering construction standards (the 2nd lot) in 1998” (Construction standard 1998No. 244) issued by the Construction BureauIn the process of revision, the code compilation team carried out a monographic study; conducted a broad investigation; sum up the experience in design, material, construction and other aspects of building decoration in many years; and made an overall revision based on the policy of “separating acceptance and evaluation, strengthening acceptance, perfecting way and means; as well as controlling the process”. In addition, they asked for the comments of relevant units in the whole country by various means, revised time and again for main issues; and finalized the contents after reviewing.This code is the quality acceptance specification for defining if a decoration work can be put into service. The building decoration work is divided into 10 sub-works according to the construction process and decoration position. Except the sub-work of ground that will be printed independently, the quality acceptance for all other 9 sub-works is stipulated in this code.This code has 13 chapters. The first 3 chapters are General, Nomenclature and General Stipulations. Chapters 412 are quality acceptance for sub-works. In chapters 412, the first section is the general stipulations; and other sections are quality acceptance for each sub-work. Chapter 13 is the quality acceptance for sub-works.In the future, it may be necessary to make partial revision for this code. The quality problems due to design should be the responsibility of design company.3.1.3 The design for building decoration should conform to the relevant stipulations for city planning, firefighting, environmental protection and energy saving.3.1.4 The company undertaking the design for building decoration should conduct necessary investigation and site survey to the building. The design depth should satisfy construction requirements.3.1.5 The design for building decoration must ensure safe structure and main usage function of buildings. When the design involves the modification of main body and weight bearing structure or the increment of duty, the original design company or a design company with corresponding qualification must check relevant original information; conduct verification and confirmation for the safety of existing building structure.3.1.6 The firefighting, lightning protection and anti seismic design for building decoration should conform to the current national standards.3.1.7 Conduct anti-freezing or anti-condensation design when freezing or condensation may occur in the pipelines inside the wall or suspended ceiling.3.2 Material3.2.1 The category, specification and quality of materials used in building decoration should conform to design requirements and stipulations of current national standards. When there is no requirement in design, the material should conform to the stipulations of current national standards. It is strictly forbidden to use those materials, which are rejected by national public proclamation.3.2.2 The combustion property of those materials used in building decoration should conform to the stipulations in current national standards “Code for firefighting design of building internal decoration” (GB 50222), “Code for firefighting design of buildings” (GBJ 16), and “Code for firefighting design of high-rise residential buildings” (GB 50045).3.2.3 The materials used in building decoration should conform to those national standards relevant to the limitation of detrimental substance in building decoration materials.3.2.4 Check material category, specification, appearance and dimension when the materials are delivered to site. The material package should be intact. The materials should have mill certificate, instruction manual in Chinese, as well as test report for relevant performance. For imported products, conduct commodity inspection according to relevant stipulations.3.2.5 For those materials necessary to be rechecked after being delivered to site, the type and items should conform to the stipulations in each chapter of this code. For the materials delivered to site with same category, same category, and produced by same manufacturer, take at least one group of samples to recheck. When otherwise specified in the Contract, execute according to the Contract.3.2.6 When there is national stipulation or contractual agreement that witness inspection must be conducted for materials, or there is a controversy over the material quality, the witness inspection should be conducted.3.2.7 The company undertaking the inspection and test for building decoration materials should have corresponding qualification, and should establish quality management system.3.2.8 For the materials being used in building decoration, effective measures must be taken during transportation, storage and construction, to prevent damage, deterioration and environmental pollution.3.2.9 For the materials being used in building decoration, conduct fireproof, antisepsis and vermin-proof treatment according to design requirements.3.2.10 For those materials prepared at site, such as mortar and adhesive, prepare according to design requirements or product instruction manual.3.3 Construction3.3.1 The company undertaking the construction of building decoration should have corresponding qualification, and should establish quality management system. The construction company should compile construction organization design, and go through review and approval. The construction company should conduct construction according to relevant construction engineering standards or approved construction plan, and apply quality control for the whole construction process.3.3.2 The personnel undertaking the construction of building decoration should have corresponding qualification.3.3.3 The construction quality of building decoration should conform to design requirements and stipulations of this code. The quality problems due to the violation of design documents and this code should be the responsibility of construction company.3.3.4 During the construction of building decoration, it is strictly forbidden to violate the design documents, and change without authorization the main body, weight bearing structure or main usage function of buildings. It is strictly forbidden to dismantle or change the water, heating, electric, fuel gas, communication and other associated facilities without design confirmation and authorization of relevant departments.3.3.5 The construction company should observe the laws and regulations on environmental protection, and take effective measures to control the pollution and hazard to surrounding environment caused by site dust, off gas, wastes, noise, vibration, etc.3.3.6 The construction company should observe the laws and regulations on construction safety, labor protection, fireproof and gasproof; establish corresponding management regulations, as well as provide necessary equipment, apparatus and identification marks.3.3.7 The construction for building decoration should be started after the quality acceptance of basal body or basal layer. Before the decoration for existing buildings, conduct treatment for basal layer and make it reach the requirement of this Code.3.3.8 Before the construction of building decoration, prepare masterpiece or masterpiece room for main materials, and get confirmation from relevant parties.3.3.9 For the building decoration using insulation material for wall surface, the type, category, specification and construction process of insulation materials should conform to design requirements.3.3.10 The installation and commissioning of piping, equipment, etc. should be finished before the construction of building decoration; if necessary to proceed simultaneously, it must be finished before the decoration of surface layer. The building decoration can not affect the usage and maintenance of piping, equipment, etc. The decoration for buildings involving fuel gas piping must conform to the relevant regulations on safety management.3.3.11 The installation of electric apparatus in building decoration should conform to design requirements and current national standards. It is strictly forbidden to lay wires directly without conduit.3.3.12 The environmental conditions for indoor and outdoor decoration should satisfy the requirements of construction process. The ambient temperature for construction should not be lower than 5. If the construction must be done at the ambient temperature lower than 5, effective measures should be taken to ensure the construction quality.3.3.13 During the construction of building decoration, take measures to protect semi-finished products and finished products from being contaminated or damaged.3.3.14 Before acceptance of building decoration, clean up the construction site.Chapter 4 Plaster Work4.1 General Stipulations4.1.1 This chapter is applicable to the quality acceptance of normal plaster work, decorative plaster, mortar-calked joint, and other sub-work.4.1.2 During the acceptance of plaster work, check the following documents and dossiers:1. Construction drawing, design description and other design documents for plaster work.2. Mill certificates, performance test reports, site acceptance records and recheck reports of materials.3. Concealment acceptance records.4. Construction Records.4.1.3 For plaster work, conduct recheck for the settling time and stability of cement.4.1.4 For plaster work, conduct acceptance for the following concealment works:1. The reinforcement with the total plastering thickness 35mm.2. The reinforcement for the joints between the basal bodies with different materials.4.1.5 The inspection lot for each sub-work should be divided according to the following stipulation:1. For the outdoor plaster work with same material, process and construction conditions, every 5001000 m2 should be one inspection lot, and the portion less than 500 m2 should also be one inspection lot.2. For the indoor plaster work with same material, process and construction conditions, every 50 physical rooms (for larger rooms and corridors, take 30 m2 of plastering area as one room) should be one inspection lot, and the portion less than 50 rooms should also be one inspection lot.4.1.6 Inspection quantity should conform to the following stipulation:1. For each indoor inspection lot, random check at least 10% and no less than 3 rooms. Check all if there are less than 3 rooms.2. For each outdoor inspection lot, random check at least one location for each 100 m2, and each location is no less than 10 m2.4.1.7 Before the construction of exterior plastering work, install steel or wooden doorframe, window frame and handrail; as well as block up tightly the construction holes on the wall.4.1.8 For the lime paste used in plastering, the maturation period should not be less than 15d; while for the ground lime powder used in finish coating, the maturation period should not be less than 3d.4.1.9 The external angles of indoor wall surface, column surface and opening of door should be made according to the design requirements. When there is no requirement in design, use cement mortar with ratio of 1:2 to make a concealed angle bead, the height of which should not be less than 2m, and the width at each side should not be less than 50mm.4.1.10 When it is required that the plaster layer should be waterproof and moistureproof, use waterproof mortar.4.1.11 For each kind of mortar plastering layer, take measures before coagulation to prevent quick drying, water flushing, bumping, vibrating and being frozen; and take measures after coagulation to prevent it from contamination and damage. The cement mortar plastering layer should be cured in wet condition.4.1.12 For external wall and ceilings, it should be adhered securely between the plaster layer and basal layer, as well as between plaster layers.4.2 Normal Plaster Work4.2.1 This section is applicable to the quality acceptance of normal plaster work such as lime mortar, cement mortar, cement composite mortar, polymer-cement mortar, as well as lime plaster with hemp cut, lime plaster with straw pulp, lime paste, etc. The normal plaster work can be divided into ordinary plaster and high grade plaster. Conduct acceptance according to ordinary plaster when there is no requirements in design.Main Control Items4.2.2 Before plastering, remove all dust, dirt, oil stains and other foreign substances on the surface of basal layer, and also wet the surface by splashing water.Inspection method: inspect the construction records.4.2.3 The category and performance of materials used in ordinary plastering should conform to the design requirements. The recheck results for the settling time and stability of cement should be qualified. The mixture ratio of mortar should conform to the design requirements.Inspection method: inspect mill certificates, site acceptance records, recheck reports and construction records.4.2.4 The plaster work should be conducted layer by layer. Take reinforcement measures when the total plastering thickness 35mm; and take reinforcement measures for the surface plastering of joints between the basal bodies with different materials, to prevent cracking. When using reinforcement meshwork, the overlap width between reinforcement meshwork and each basal body should be no less than 100 mm.Inspection method: inspect concealment acceptance records and construction records.4.2.5 It should be adhered securely between the plaster layer and basal layer, as well as between plaster layers. The plaster layer should be without delamination, cavity; while the surface course should be without bursting ash and cracks.Inspection method: observe; inspect by knock lightly with small hammer; and inspect construction records.General Items4.2.6 The surface quality of normal plaster work should conform to the following stipulations:1. The ordinary plastering surface should be smooth, clean, flat interfacing; and the isolation joints should be distinct.2. The high grade plastering surface should be smooth, clean, with uniform color, and without 抹纹. The isolation joints and gray lines should be distinct and good appearance. Inspection method: observe; check by hand touching.4.2.7 The plastering surface at the surrounding of angle beads, openings, slotss and boxes should be neat and smooth. The plastering surface behind piping should be flat.Inspection method: observe.4.2.8 The total thickness of plaster layer should conform to design requirements. The cement mortar can not be applied to lime mortar layer; and the gauging plaster can not be applied to cement mortar layer.Inspection method: inspect construction records.4.2.9 The setting for plaster isolation joints should conform to design requirements; the width and depth should be uniform; the surface should be smooth; and the edge angle should be trim.Inspection method: observe; check by metering. 4.2.10 For the location requiring water drainage, make drip moulding (groove). The drip moulding (groove) should be trim and straight. The recheck results for the settling time and stability of cement should be qualified. The mixture ratio of mortar should conform to the design requirements.Inspection method: inspect mill certificates, site acceptance records, recheck reports and construction records.4.3.4 The plaster work should be conducted layer by layer. Take reinforcement measures when the total plastering thickness 35mm; and take reinforcement measures for the surface plastering of joints between the basal bodies with different materials, to prevent cracking. The plaster layer should be without delamination, cavity and crack.Inspection method: observe; inspect by knock lightly with small hammer; and inspect construction records.General Items4.3.6 The surface quality of decorative plaster work should conform to the following stipulations:1. On the surface of washed concrete, the gravel particles should be distinct, uniformly distributed, compact and flat, with identical tincture. There should be no missing particles and no interface traces.2. On the surface of artificial granite, the chopped veins should be uniform, linear, and with same depth. There should be no position not chopped. At the position of external angles, chop transversely and leave out a regula with identical width. There should be no damage to edges and corners.3. On the surface of chipped marble finish, the tincture should be identical, and there is no exposed slurry and no position not adhered. The gravel particles should be adhered securely, and should be distributed uniformly. At the position of external angles, there should be no distinct black edge.4. The surface of false facing bricks should be flat, the rille should be distinct; the joints should be trim; the tincture should be identical; and there should be no defects like damaged angle, peeling or sand streak.Inspection method: observe; check by hand touching.4.3.7 The setting of isolation joints for decorative plastering should conform to design requirements; the width and depth should be uniform; the surface should be smooth; and the edge angle should be trim.Inspection method: observe.4.3.8 For the location requiring water drainage, make drip moulding (groove). The drip moulding (groove) should be trim and straight. The mixture ratio of mortar should conform to the design requirements.Inspection method: inspect recheck reports and construction records.4.4.3 For mortar-calked joint work, there should be no joint not pointed. The materials used in pointing joints should be adhered securely and without cracking.Inspection method: observeGeneral Items4.4.4 The mortar-calked joints should be horizontal or vertical, the interface should be smooth; the width and depth should be identical; the surface should be compacted and flattened.Inspection method: observe; check by metering.4.4.5 The color of mortar joints should be identical, and the surface of masonry should be clean.Inspection method: observeChapter 5 Door and window work5.1 General Stipulations5.1.1 This chapter is applicable to the quality acceptance for the fabrication and erection of wooden doors and windows, erection of metal doors and windows, erection of plastic doors and windows, erection of special doors, as well as erection of glasses for doors and windows, and other sub-work.5.1.2 During the acceptance of door and window work, check the following documents and dossiers:1. Construction drawings, design description and other design documents for door and window work.2. Mill certificates, performance test reports, site acceptance records and recheck reports of materials.3. Manufacturing license for special doors and accessories.4. Concealment acceptance records.5. Construction Records5.1.3 For door and window work, recheck the following materials and their property index:1. Formaldehyde content in man-made wood plate.2. For the metal windows and plastic framed windows of external wall, recheck the wind pressure bearing property, air penetration property and rainwater penetration property.5.1.4 For door and window work, conduct acceptance for the following concealment works:1. Embedded and anchored parts.2. Coating and embedding treatment for the concealed positions.5.1.5 The inspection lot for each sub-work should be divided according to the following stipulation:1. For wooden doors and windows, metal doors and windows, plastic doors and windows and doors and windows glasses with the same category, type and specification, every 100 pillars should be one inspection lot, and those less than 100 pillars should also be one inspection lot.2. For the special doors with the same category, type and specification, every 50 pillars should be one inspection lot, and those less than 50 pillars should also be one inspection lot.5.1.6 Inspection quantity should conform to the following stipulation:1. For wooden doors and windows, metal doors and windows, plastic doors and windows and doors and windows glasses, check randomly at least 5% and no less than 3 pillars for each inspection lot; check all if there are less than 3 pillars. When the hanger rod is longer than 1.5m, backward support should be installed. Less than 50 rooms shall also be plotted as one inspection batch.2) For the engineering of outdoor facing plates (tiles) with same material, process and construction condition, every 5001000m2 shall be regarded as one inspection batch. Linking metal angle and other adapting pieces of structural pole piece of curtain wall shall be bolted and protected from loosening.9.1.8 Structural adhesive material used for curtain wall with hidden frame and half-hidden frame must be neutral silicone sealant, which shall have the property in compliance with GB16776 “Silicone Structural Sealant Used for Architecture” and shall be used within the period of validity.9.1.9 For primary structure member such as pole pieces and crossbeams, the wall thickness of load-bearing part in its section shall be defined by calculation, which shall not be less than 3.0mm for aluminum alloy section bar and 3.5mm for steel section bar.9.1.10 Cohesion width of silicone structural sealant between panel and metal frame among hidden and half-hidden components of curtain wall shall take the bigger value out of the two results as calculated separately based on the action of the standard wind load and the standard self weight of panel, and shall not be less than 7.0mm.9.1.11 Silicone structural sealant shall be fully filled in a clean house with temperature of 1530 oC and relative humidity of above 50%, rather than poured on the wall at site.9.1.12 In addition to the relevant regulations in the existing national standards GBJ 16 “Code for Fireproof of Architecture Design” and GB 50045 “Code for Fireproof of High-Rise Civil Architecture Design”, fireproof of curtain wall shall meet the following regulations:1) The thickness and width of fireproof layer shall be defined according to the fireproof limit of fireproof material. Fireproof zone shall be established at floorslab.2) Fireproof layer shall be isolated. Scaleboard at fireproof layer shall be subject to preservative treatment and shall use steel plate with thickness of not less than 1.5mm. Aluminum plate shall not be used.3) Sealing material for fireproof layer shall use fireproof sealant.4) Fireproof layer and glass shall not be in direct contact. One piece of glass shall not cross over two fireproof areas.9.1.13 For each built-in fitting for connection of main structure and curtain wall, the quantity, specification, position and preservative treatment must meet the design requirements.9.1.14 The connection between metal framework and built-in fitting of main structure, the connection between pole piece and crossbeam as well as the mounting of panel of curtain wall must meet the design requirements. Mounting must be firm.9.1.15 The wall thickness of aluminum alloy section bar at the connection and hanging point of unit curtain wall shall be defined by calculation, not less than 5.0mm.9.1.16 Metal framework and main structure of curtain wall shall be connected via built-in fitting, which shall be embedded accurately in position during the construction of concrete of main structure. When connection by built-in fitting is impossible, other reliable connection measures shall be provided, and the load-bearing capacity in such case shall be defined by test.9.1.17 Pole piece shall be connected by bolt and angle. The diameter of bolt shall be calculated, not less than 10mm. Different metal materials shall be isolated by insulation gasket.9.1.18 Aseismatic joint, expansion joint and settlement joint etc. of curtain wall shall be treated to ensure the utilization performance of the joints and the integrity of facing.9.1.19 The design of the engineering of curtain wall shall meet the requirements of maintenance and cleanness. 9.2 Engineering of Glass Curtain Wall9.2.1 This section is applicable for quality check and acceptance of the glass curtain wall with hidden frame, half-hidden frame and visible frame, as well as the full-glass curtain wall and the point-supported curtain wall, with the building height of not more than 150m and the aseismatic intensity of not more than Level 8. Major items9.2.2 The quality of each material, component and assembly used for the engineering of glass curtain wall shall meet design requirement as well as existing national standard of product and engineering specification.Method for inspection: to check the qualified certificates of material, component and assembly, the record of entry-site acceptance, the report of performance test and the recheck report of material.9.2.3 Model and vertical subdivision of glass curtain wall shall meet the design requirements.Method for inspection: to observe; to check with a ruler.9.2.4 Glass used for glass curtain wall shall meet the following regulations:1) Curtain wall shall use safety glass with type, specification, color, optical property and installation orientation in compliance with the design requirements.2) The thickness of glass of curtain wall shall not be less than 6.0mm. The thickness of rib glass of full-glass curtain wall shall not be less than 12mm.3) Cavity glass of curtain wall shall be sealed in two paths. Cavity glass of curtain wall with visible frame shall use poly-sulfur sealant and butyl sealant. Cavity glass of curtain wall with hidden frame or half-hidden frame shall use silicone structural sealant or butyl sealant. Filming surface shall be on the second or third face of cavity glass.4) Laminated glass of curtain wall shall be fabricated from PVB film by means of dry process. Laminated film (PVB) of laminated glass of point-supported glass curtain wall shall have the thickness of not less than 0.76mm.5) The surface of toughened glass shall be free of damage. Welded connection shall meet the design requirement and welding code.Method for inspection: to observe; to check the examining and receiving record of concealed work and the construction record.9.2.7 For glass curtain wall with hidden frame or half-hidden frame, the bottom of each piece of glass shall be equipped with two aluminum alloy or stainless steel support strips, which shall have a length of not less than 100mm, a thickness of not less than 2mm and the outer end of which shall be 2mm lower than the external surface of glass.Method for inspection: to observe; to check the construction record.9.2.8 The glass of glass curtain wall with visible frame shall be installed according to the following regulations:1) The mating dimension between glass slot and glass shall meet the design requirement and technical standard.2) Glass and component shall not be in direct contact. There shall be a certain gap between the glass edges and the bottom of groove of component. At least two flexible setting blocks shall be positioned at the bottom of each piece of glass, with the width same as that of slot and the length of not less than 100mm. Embedding extent and air gap at both sides of glass shall be in compliance with the design.3) Material and type of rubber strip around the glass shall meet the design requirement. Rubber strip shall be interlaid flatly, with the length 1.52.0% longer than inner slot of frame, and shall be beveled at the corners and inserted in the slot after it is firmly felted by adhesion agent.Method for inspection: to observe; to check the construction record. 9.2.9 Full-glass curtain wall with height of more than 4m shall be hung over the main structure. Suspension clamp shall meet the design requirement. Less than 500 m2 shall also be plotted as one inspection batch.2) For the engineering of indoor coating, every 50 rooms (every 30 m2 of coating area is regarded as one room for large room and aisle) shall be plotted as one inspection batch. Less than 50 rooms shall also be plotted as one inspection batch.10.1.4 The quantity of inspection shall meet the following regulation:1) For the engineering of outdoor coating, at least once every 100 m2 shall be checked, with the area of not less than 10 m2.2) For the engineering of indoor coating, at least 10%, not less than 3 rooms, shall be spot-checked for each inspection batch. Less than 3 rooms shall be 100% checked.10.1.5 Base course of coating engineering shall be treated according to the following requirements:1) Concrete or plaster base course of new building, prior to be decorated with coating, shall be painted with anti-alkali seal primer.2) Old wall, prior to be painted with coating, shall be removed of old loose layer of decoration and shall be applied with interface agent.3) When concrete or plaster base course is applied with solvent paint, water content shall not be more than 8%; when applied with latex paint, water content shall not be more than 10%. And water content in wood base course shall not be more than 12%.4) Luting of base course shall be flat, solid, strong, and free of efflorescence, scaling and crack. to check the qualified certificate, the report of performance test and the record of entry-site acceptance.10.4.3 Fine arts coating engineering shall ensure that paint is applied uniformly and cohered firmly; that wall shall be 100% painted, free of exposure of primer, without crusting and patination.Method for inspection: to observe; to touch with hand.10.4.4 Base course of fine arts coating engineering shall be treated in accordance with Article 10.1.5.Method for inspection: to observe; to touch with hand; to check the construction record.10.4.5 Overdye, figured twills and pattern of fine arts coating shall meet the design requirements.Method for inspection: to observe.General items10.4.6 The surface of fine arts coating shall be clean, without flowing down.Method for inspection: to observe.10.4.7 The facing of imitated pattern coating shall have the same vein as the imitated material.Method for inspection: to observe.10.4.8 The pattern of overdye coating must not shift and shall have clear vein and profile.Method for inspection: to observe.11 Engineering of Paperhanging and Soft Package11.1 General Provisions11.1.1This chapter is applicable for quality check and acceptance of paperhanging and soft package etc.11.1.2 The following documents and records shall be inspected during the check and acceptance of the engineering of paperhanging and soft package:1) Construction drawing, design notes and other design documents for the engineering of paperhanging and soft package.2) The templet of facing material and the confirmation document.3) The qualified certificate, the report of performance test and the record of entry-site acceptance.4) Construction records.11.1.3 Inspection batch shall be plotted in accordance with the following regulation:For the same sort of paperhanging or soft package engineering, every 50 rooms (every 30 m2 of construction area is regarded as one room for large room and aisle) shall be plotted as one inspection batch. Less than 50 rooms shall also be plotted as one inspection batch.11.1.4 The quantity of inspection shall meet the following regulation:1) For the engineering of paperhanging, at least 10%, not less than 3 rooms, shall be spot-checked for each inspection batch. Less than 3 rooms shall be fully checked.2) For the engineering of soft package, at least 20%, not less than 6 rooms, shall be spot-checked for each inspection batch. Less than 6 rooms shall be fully checked.11.1.5 Prior to paperhanging, base course shall be treated with the quality in accordance with the following requirements:1) Concrete or plaster base course of new building, prior to be applied with luting, shall be painted with anti-alkali seal primer.2) Old wall, prior to paperhanging, shall be removed of old loose layer of decoration and shall be applied with interface agent.3) Water content in concrete or plaster base course shall not be more than 8%. Water content in wood base course shall not exceed 12%.4) Luting of base course shall be flat, solid, strong, and free of efflorescence, crusting and crack. Luting shall have adhesive strength in accordance with JG/T3049 “Luting Used for Indoor Building”.5) Surface flatness, vertical perpendicularity and squareness of reentrant and male corners of the base course shall meet the requirement of high-level plaster as stipulated in 4.2.11 of this Code.6) The surface of base course shall have consistent color.7) Prior to paperhanging, base course shall be applied with seal base glue. 11.2 Engineering of Paperhanging11.2.1 This chapter is applicable for quality check and acceptance of the engineering of paperhanging, such as that of PVC plastic wallpaper, compound wallpaper and wall cloth.Major items11.2.2 Type, specification, pattern, color and combustion property of wallpaper and wall cloth must meet the design requirements and the existing national standards.Method for inspection: to observe; to check the qualified certificate, the record of entry-site acceptance and the report of performance test.11.2.3 Base course of the engineering of paperhanging shall be treated with the quality in accordance 11.1.5.Method for inspection: to observe; to touch with hands; to check the construction record.11.2.4 After paperhanging, each other paper shall be assembled flat and perpendicular. Figured twills and pattern at joint shall be well matched, without separation and overlapping as well as appearance of edge joints. Method for inspection: to observe; to check by facing up to edge joints at 1.5m away from wall.11.2.5 Wallpaper and wall cloth shall be affixed firmly, free of being omitted, being re-pasted, delamination, frothing and edge lifting.Method for inspection: to observe; to touch with hands.General items11.2.6 After paperhanging, the surface of wallpaper and wall cloth shall be flat and identical in color, and free of wrinkle, air bladder, crack, crease and blot. There shall be no glue mark at side-glance.Method for inspection: to observe; to touch with hands.11.2.7 The pressed mark of compound empaistic wallpaper and the sparkling layer of sparkling wallpaper shall not be damaged.Method for inspection: to observe.11.2.8 Wallpaper and wall cloth shall joint closely with various kinds of decoration lines and equipment junction boxes.Method for inspection: to observe.11.2.9 The edges of wallpaper and wall cloth shall be straight and orderly, free of any paper burr and fin.Method for inspection: to observe.11.2.10 Wallpaper and wall cloth shall be overlapped smoothly at reentrant corners, and shall not have joints at male corner.Method for inspection: to observe.11.3 Engineering of Soft Package11.3.1 This section is applicable for quality check and acceptance of the engineering of soft package of wall and door etc.Major items11.3.2 For soft package, quality, color, pattern and combustion performance rate of outside material, lining material and frame as well as water content in wood shall meet the design requirements and the relative regulations in the existing national standard.Method for inspection: to observe; to check the qualified certificate, the record of entry-site acceptance and the report of performance test.11.3.3 Installation location and structure of soft package engineering shall meet the design requirements.Method for inspection: to observe; to check with a ruler; to check the construction record.11.3.4 Keel, scaleboard and frame of soft package engineering shall be mounted firmly, without warp, the edge joint of which shall be straight.Method for inspection: to observe; to turn by hand for check.11.3.5 Single piece of outside material for soft package shall not have any cut joint and shall be tightened closely around.Method for inspection: to observe; to touch with hands,General items11.3.6 The surface of soft package shall be flat, clean, and free of sags and crests and crease. Less than 50 rooms (positions) shall also be plotted as one inspection batch.2) Each staircase shall be plotted as one inspection batch.12.2 Fabrication and Installation of Cabinet12.2.1 This section is applicable for quality check and acceptance of fabrication and installation of fixed cabinets such as closets and wall cupboards.12.2.2 The quantity of inspection shall meet the following regulation:At least 3 rooms (positions) shall be spot checked for each inspection batch. Less than 3 rooms (positions) shall be fully checked.Major items12.2.3 The quality and specification of the material used for fabrication and installation of cabinet, the combustion performance rate and water content of wood, the radioactivity of granite and formaldehyde content in artificial wood board shall meet the design requirements and the relative regulations of the existing national standard.Method of inspection: to observe; to check the qualified certificate, the record of entry-site acceptance, the report of performance test and the report of recheck.12.2.4 The quantity, specification and location of built-in fittings or post embedded parts for installation of cabinet shall meet the design requirements.Method for inspection: to check the examining and receiving record of concealed work and the construction records.12.2.5 Model, size, mounting position, fabrication and the way of fixing of cabinet shall meet the design requirements. Cabinet must be mounted firmly.Method for inspection: to observe; to check with a ruler; to turn by hand for inspection.12.2.6 Type and specification of cabinet fittings shall meet the design requirements.
