To assess students ability to transfer information from graphical presentation into writing.3. To assess students understanding of a range of adjectives and set phrases to describe peoples appearance and personalities4. To use noun and adjective collocations to describe peoples appearance and personalities四、教学重点难点:A级单 词 1. climbing 句 子 1. What about playing football? 2. I really want to have a friend like Alan. 语 法 1. 归纳、小结形容词的级的构成与用法B级单 词 1. correctly 句 子 1. Thats what we think too.语 法 1. 形容词级的互换五、背景材料This section encourages students to find out how much they have learned and how well their learning strategies are working. In Part A of the Checkout section, students have a chance to meet Daniels best friend Kate. Ask some students to read their passages to the class. Get Ss to discuss the adjectives and some set phrases in their passages.2. Brainstorming the useful vocabulary about how to describe the best friendStep 2 Presentation 第二步 呈现1. Checkout Do Part B Do additional exercise (Fill in the blanks with proper words)2. Make a surveyRevise the comparatives and superlatives. ( Write down the comparative and superlative form of the following words) Group work. Make a survey about the classmates opinion of different activities, different objects using the comparatives and superlatives.3. CheckoutDo Part A (Have a competition)Group work.
