My teaching content today is Story time of Unit 5 Book 5A. This unit is mainly about what do they do ?Now, I will explain the lesson from the following aspects. 1. Teaching ContentsFirstly, lets focus on the analysis of teaching content. The lesson is a new one of Unit 5.In this class, it mainly deals with these key words, a teacher , a doctor , a writer , and a worker. And these main sentences what does your father do ? What does your mother do ? Hes/Shes a .Talk about the studentsSecondly, it is about the students. Our students are in Grade 5 .They are active and curious, interested in new things.After learning English for 2 years, they have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language. 2. Teaching aimsSo, I set the following aims.1. Aims on the knowledge(1) Students can read and say the new words: a doctor, a teacher, a driver, a teacher, a farmer, a writer, teach English, help sick people.(2) Students will be able to use the sentence pattern: What does your father do ?
