青岛科技大学研究生学位论文 主位推进理论与大学英语写作教学 摘要 在听、说、读、写四项技能中，写作无疑占有重要地位。测试一位学生的实 际英语水平，写作不失为一项最有效的手段。近年来，针对写作教学的研究日益 广泛，丰硕的理论和实践成果层出不穷。但在大学英语教学实践中，英语教师发 现许多学生的作文句子与句子之间联系不自然、不紧凑，篇章结构松散、层次混 乱、逻辑性差，文章缺乏整体感。事实上，学生也确实认为语言表达连贯性是他 们在写作时遇到的最大障碍。教师和学生都将写作视为最难以提高和突破的技 能。k a p l a n 曾指出：英语篇章模式多为“亚晕士多德式 线性排列，而汉语篇章 模式则多为循环或螺旋上升式排列。这种差别又导致中国大学生在用英语写作时 过多地受母语迁移影响，作文中语言表达和谋篇布局也都不符合英语表达方式。 h a l l i d a v 创立的系统功能语法为英语教学提供了强有力的分析框架。他将语 言的元功能分成三种：概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能。其中语篇功能指的是语 篇的完整性、一致性和衔接性。而主位结构作为实现语篇功能的三个组成成分之 一，在检验与促进语篇连贯性方面有着无可比拟的强大作用。本文f 是基于主位 结构和主位推进理论，对大学英语四级写作教学展丌实验和研究。 本研究的主要目的：其一是调查大学非英语专业学生的英文习作在运用主位 推进模式方面的情况；其二是调查当前大学非英语专业四级写作教学的情况；其 三是论证主位理论和主位推进模式在促进学生习作连贯性方面的有效性。 为达到上述目的，本文选取青岛科技大学政法学院2 0 0 5 级l 班的3 2 名学生 为受试对象进行实证研究。选耿写作课上一篇作文为6 l f 测样本，进行主位选择和 主位推进模式分析。运用调查问卷、“主位操作法”写作教学实验以及作文修改 的方法丌展研究。最终达到检验该教学方法在促进学生习作连贯性方面是否有效 的目的。 本研究结果表明：学生对习作质量的关注虽然由过度注重语法准确性转向关 注内容和整体结构的好坏，但如何将材料连贯、有条理地组织起来仍然是他们在 写作中的最大障碍。结构松散，连贯性差等问题普遍存在于习作之中。原因就是 对各种主位推进模式使用较少，所使用的主位推进模式也多是最简单的主位统一 型推进模式。 本研究作为尝试将主位结构和主位推进理论融入写作教学。实践证明基于主 主位推进理论与大学英语写作教学 位结构和主位推进理论的“主位操作法”写作教学法有效可行。它不仅增强了学 生恰当运用主位推进模式的意识，更促进了篇章整体结构和内容的连贯性，在现 行大学非英语专业英语写作教学中该教学法具有一定的推广价值。
