_状语从句 Adverbial Clauses 高二 教师 叶莲琴状语从句在句中作状语,修饰主句中的动词,形容词或副词等。状语从句放在主句之前时, 常用逗号分开;放在主句之后,一般不用逗号。状语从句按其意义和作用可分为时间,条件,原因,让步,目的,结果,方式,比较,地点等九种。 I 时间状语从句的连词:when, as, while, before, after, since, till( until ) , as soon as, hardly-when , no sooner-than, the moment etc.II. 原因状语从句的连词:because, since, as, for, seeing (that) , now ( that ), considering ( that ), in that , not that/because-but that/ because etc.III. 地点状语从句的连词:where, wherever, anywhere, everywhereIV. 条件状语从句连词:if (如果 常用于表示正面的条件) ,unless (if not ,常用于表示反面的条件), on condition that, provided (that), providing (that),( 常用于表示好的条件 ),so (as ) long as, suppose ( that ), supposing ( that ), in case, given ( that )(鉴于-,在-的情况下), granted that(就算)etc.V. 让步状语从句由although / though , even if / even though 等引导For example: Although (Even if ) I didnt know anybody at the party, I had a very good time.VI. 目的状语从句的连词: so that + 情态动词 can/ could, may/ might, shall/should, will/ would, in order that +情态动词 can/ could , may/ might, shall/ should, will/ would ; lest ( 万一 ) , for fear that( 恐怕 ), in case, + 虚拟语气 (should ) do .VII. 结果状语从句的连词:so, so that, so-that , such-thatVIII. 方式状语从句的连词:as, just as, as if, as though, ( in ) the way ( that ) etc. as if 和 as though 一般用虚拟,但是如果从句中所陈述的情况很可能是事实,也可用陈述语气。IX. 比较状语从句的连词:as-as, than, not so-as, the more-the more, as-so etc.巩固练习1.
