PEP5A Unit 3 Whats Your Favourite Food ?执教:集美区锦园小学 赖丽婵 (一)教学内容: A Lets learn &Group work 一课时(二)学生情况说明:五年级的学生已学过两年的英语,学生已有一定的基础,良好的听、说、读、写英语的习惯已基本养成。但由于教材难度偏大,教学内容与课时不成比例,学生的学习兴趣难以保持,两极分化较严重。因此,本学期应注重转化后进生,因材施教,分层教学,保持学生的学习兴趣。(三)教学目标与要求:能够听、说、读、写本课时四会单词: tomato, tofu, green beans, fish, potato, eggplant并认读者cabbage, mutton, pork三个单词及替换句型:What would you like for lunch? Id like 能用本课时单词卡片完成小组活动,操练新单词。能够说唱歌谣,并理解其含义。(四)教学重、难点:重点:掌握有关食物的单词:tomato, tofu, green beans, fish, potato, eggplant。难点:本课时词汇量大,要求四会掌握的单词多。有些单词不易掌握:tomato和potato易混淆;eggplant较长;cabbage的发音较难;pork 和mutton的意思容易混;tofu的发音容易被中文干扰。(五)教学准备:多媒体课件、word cards、录音带、录音机(六)教学过程:I、Warm up ( 热身)1. GreetingsT:Class begin.Ss:Stand up.T:Good morning ,boys and girls.Ss:Good morning,Miss Lai.T:What day is it today?Ss:Its Monday.T:Whats the weather like today?Ss:Its sunny.(cloudy,windy,rainy,.)T:Yes,its a fine day to go to have a picnic. Lets go to Gulangyu Islet for a picnic.OK?Ss:Great!T:First ,lets sing a song.2.Sing a song.教师播放四年级下册第六单元P73 Lets chant儿歌,学生说唱,重温有关食物单词。Lets ChantI like tomatoes.I like tomatoes. Juicy and red. I like potatoes.I like potatoes. Tasty and brown. I like carrots.I like carrots. Yummy and orange. I like cucumbers.I like cucumbers. Tender and green. I dont like onions.I dont like onions. Show the task.T:Lets go to have a picnic.After that,we will make a survey:Ask and write. 设计意图:整堂课我是设计了组织活动,到鼓浪屿野餐这个大情景,同时通过调查和了解,组织学生自带自己喜欢的食物参加这次野餐活动,把课文,游戏,活动串起来,溶入到到情景中,同时体现任务教学的确驱动性,布置野餐活动后的Make a survey,使学生学习有目的性,也切合生活实际 。3. (猜谜语)(1) “tomato”T:Im yummy to eat.Im red and round.I grow on the ground. My name begins with the letter as “tea”.What am I?Ss: Tomato.T:Yes,you are right.(T展示实物,teach the word “tomato”and the sentence :This is a tomato.Tomato,tomato,Id like tomatoes.(2) “potato”T:Im brown and round , I grow on the ground. My name begins with the letter as “pencil”.Who am I?Ss: Potato.T:Yes,you are right.(T展示实物,teach the word “potato”and the sentence :This is a potato. Potato, potato,Id like potatoes.“tomato”和 “potato”对比记忆。(3) “eggplant”T:I am yummy to eat, I am purple and long. Who am I?Ss: Eggplant.T:Yes,you are right.(T展示实物,teach the word “eggplant”and the sentence :The(茄子)is very fresh.Eggplant,eggplant,Id like some eggplant.(4) “cabbage”T:I am yummy to eat, I am big and round. I look loke a football .Who am I?Ss: Cabbage.T:Yes,very good.(T展示实物,teach the word “cabbage”and the sentence :The cabbage(卷心菜)is very fresh.Cabbage,cabbage,Id like cabbage.(5) “green beans”T:T展示实物,Look! Who can tell me ,what are these?Ss: They re green beans.(知道英语的说英语,不知道的说中文)T:Yes,very good.(teach the word “green beans”and the sentence :The green beans(青豆)are very fresh.Green beans,green beans,Id like green beans. Play a game:What s missing? tomato, potato, cabbage eggplant , green beans,到现在大家提供的都是些蔬菜类的实物,那么接下来我们看看别的实物。我们继续来猜一猜。(6) “fish”T:Im an animal, I swim in the water, the cat likes eating me ,who am I?Ss: Fish.T:Yes,good job.(T展示实物模型,teach the word “fish”and the sentence :The fish is very fresh.Fish,fish,Id like fish(不可数名词). (7) “fish”T:Im yummy to eat.I am white and soft? Who am I?Ss: Tofu.T:Yes,you are right.(T展示实物型,teach the word “tofu”and the sentence :The tofu is very delicious.soft.Tofu,tofu,Id like tofu(不可数名词). (8) “pork”T:Im yummy to eat.I am the meat of pig? Who am I?Ss: Pork.T:Yes,you are right.(T展示实物型模型,teach the word “pork”and the sentence :The pork is very delicious.Pork,pork,Id like pork(不可数名词). (9) “mutton”T:Im yummy to eat.I am the meat of sheep? Who am I?Ss: Mutton.T:Yes,you are right.(T展示实物型模型,teach the word “mutton”and the sentence :The mutton is very delicious.Mutton,mutton,Id like mutton(不可数名词). Lets play.“看谁说得快”这些食物各自是什么颜色?red : tomato , pork , mutton green : green beans , cabbage white : tofu brown: potato purple: eggplant 小结可数名词 不可数名词potatoes fishtomatoes tofueggplants porkgreen beans mutton cabbages4. Group work.1) Lets chant .P26 T:Now,we have so many delicious food.So what would you like for lunch?Lets sing a sing: What would you like for lunch? Then think about What would you like for lunch?OK? Ss:OK!教师播放教材P26 Lets chant中的儿歌,学生欣赏Lets chantWhat would you like for lunch?Cabbage,green beans or eggplant?Id like eggplant,please. What would you like for lunch?Mutton,tofu or beef?Id like mutton,please.2) Role play.T:Lets play.Now Im a cooker.I want to know what would you like for lunch?So I can cook the meals.教师提问:What would you like for lunch?引导学生用Id like some回答。教师和学生示范几次后,做Group work. 4人一组用卡片进行What would you like for lunch?Id like some的问答练习。其中一人扮演cooker,其他三人是用餐的顾客,当学生的回答时及时纠正单词读音。III.Consolidation and extension. 1 ) Exercises 按照所给的中文,填上适当的单词 1.Id like some tomatoes (土豆)for lunch. 2.There are many green bean (青豆)and cabbage on the table. 3.Would you like some tofu (豆腐)? 4.The eggplant (茄子)is very fresh. 5.Id like some fish (鱼)for dinner. 6.Id like two tomatoes (蕃茄). 7.Id like some pork (猪肉)for dinner. 8.What would you like for lunch? Id like some mutton (羊肉)for lunch. 3) 完成活动手册P171、2 IV.Homework1. Copy the new words: cabbage, pork,mutton, eggplant,fish,green beans, tofu,potato, tomato, for,lunch. (抄写4遍)2.Listen and repeat. 听A lets learn部分录音,读给家长、同学或朋友听。(1015分钟) 3.Make a survey:Ask and write.(完成调查表) 每个学生调查三名同学一日三餐相吃的食物:What would you like for breakfast/lunch/dinner?并根据对方回答完成以下表格: Name breakfast lunch dinner 板书设计: Unit 3 Whats Your Favourite Foo
