Im your new English teacher today. And my name is Cassie, and whats your name?S1: My name is *.T: Nice to meet you.S1: Nice to meet you, too.T: Hello! Im Cassie.S2: Hi, Im *.T: Wow, you have big eyes. You are so cute! Nice to meet you.S2: Nice to meet you, too.T: That boy, whats your name?S3: My name is *.T: Look, * is so tall. Nice to meet you.S3: Nice to meet you, too.二、Cassies pictures. T: Look, Cassie likes to draw animals. Can you guess what animal? T: It has a long nose. It has small eyes and big ears.T:Look, what is it? Its an Ostrich. Lets listen to a song about the Ostrich.通过师生间的谈话,与学生拉近距离。并且复习在本单元A板块中已学过的单词及句型。与真实生活情境联系并过渡到书本内容。Step2: Presentation and Practice1、 Teach four new words “long, short, big, small”.1. 听音、跟读四个单词。(重点音,初步感知义)Listen to a song.T: The ostrich hasyes, long legs.Wonderful! You are all good listeners! Now, listen again, what can you hear now?S1: Long.T: Yes. Who can try again?S2: Long.T: Very good! Lets listen again. What did you hear now? (加升降调) Who can repeat?S1: Long, long.T: Very good! Now lets read together!Ss: Long, long.T: Now, look at my hands, can you read like this? (加手势升降调)T: Look, a long tail? Please listen. (short)T: Look, I have two pictures here. Which one is for long? Come here and point.T: Can you read? Read together. Yes, long legs and a short tail. What about the body? Lets listen. It has a big body.S1: Big.T: Yes. Please listen and repeat.T: A big head? No! Please listen.(small) Who can repeat?2. Talk about the ostrich in the pictcure.(巩固音,强调义) T: Now we know the ostrich in the picture. It has.3. Pair Work(音、义)1. 听音模仿。T: Look, whos that boy? What is he saying? Lets listen. Wow! It has a small head. Please follow the tape.T: Whos that girl? What is she saying?2.邀请两位学生角色扮演,表演对话;3. Pair work:T: Now, Im Chen Jie, who can be John? (补充板书And)T: It has small eyes.Ss: AndT: Who wants to have a show?Good try! Big hands!4. 根据音、识别词形(形)T: Look, this picture is for long. Listen. Long, /l/ /l/, which letter?Ss: L.T: /n/ /n/, which letter?Ss: N.T: Yes. Now you know all these words. Can you match the words with the pictures?(请同学上来) 教师再引导学生如何根据音来认读,区别单词。二、 Lets chant.1. Watch and listen.2. Listen and chant.3. Chant together.4. Group work. 5. Lets chant together again.T: Now you know Cassie likes the Ostrich. Look John likes the fish and the monkey, Chen Jie likes the panda and the ostrich.Lets act like animals.Please follow the tape. This time please follow me. (加动作)T: Now, lets chant together! (边唱边加动作) 从歌曲入手,进入新词学习。通过课文图片上的动物特征的逐步呈现,在学生看图谈图的过程中,完成4个新词音义的新授。对四个单词的发音处理过程是:听音,单个学生跟读;纠音;再听、再跟读;全班跟读。在听音、纠音过程中,让学生准确、标准地说出四个单词。巩固音,强调义,音义匹配。纠正发音,升降调、重音等。通过角色扮演的形式,让学生在情境中利用本单元重点句型It has来巩固单词音和义。教师通过示范,引导学生将词音与词形进行配对。通过学生单独进行音形配对的活动,培养学生听音识别单词的能力。通过chant活动进一步巩固了音、义、形。并渗透了友爱动物的情感。Step3: Consolidation and Extension一、 What is it?(猜猜我的动物)T:(Duck)Its yellow. It has two short legs. What is it?S1: Its a bird.T: No, its yellow. And it has a small tail.S2: Its a duck.T: Yes, its a duck. Here you are.Group work. Choose one picture and guess.How many cards?二、A storybook What is it?T: Look at this animal. ItsIt has1. 绘本出现(无文字,看图片。)讲一张翻一张。Lets enjoy the story.2. 词出现图片没有,让学生一句一句读过去。T: Who can read? 请学生一句一句读,读得好的,follow him/her.3. 图文一起出现,有腔调地一句句读。Look at the monkey.Its so fat.Wow! It has a long tail.Look at that monkey. It has a small head.And a big body.It has long arms and short legs.No! No! I
