Unit 4 Dont eat in class.Section A 1a-2c于艳平课程标准相关要求:1、能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段。2、能听懂学习活动中连续的指令和问题,并作出适当的反应。3、能就熟悉的话题进行简单的交流。教材分析:本单元是人教版新目标七年级下册的第四单元。本单元的话题:Talk about rules.与日常生活密切相关。作为一名中学生,遵守校纪班规家法,和社会公共场所的规章制度是必须的。在谈论规则时,一般运用祈使句、情态动词can和have to等。这是英语新课程标准中规定所必须掌握的内容,是交际英语中必不可少的项目。因此,本单元对于提升学生的学习兴趣和提高学生的听、说、读、写能力都有很大的帮助。学情分析:七年级学生在前面的学习中已经涉及了一些can和cant的用法,而本课主要学习一些校规,比较贴近学生们的生活实际,学生们渴望知道用英语如何表达校规校纪,因此它为本课学习垫定了情感上的基础。目标:1、通过学习新单词,呈现新句型,能够准确的将单词:rule, arrive, hall, hallway, fight, sorry, outside, wear, (be) on time, dining hall, listen to和句子:(1) What are the rules? (2) Dont run in the hallways. Dont . (3) -Can we eat in the classroom? - No, we cant, but we can eat in the dining hall.读出。2、通过听力练习,能够准确提取材料中的各种规则。3、以两人对话的形式,编写对话并能以正确的语音、语调运用祈使句,must,can和cant来谈论规则。评价任务:Assessment 1 以短语或句子的形式呈现新单词,学生能流利准确的将句子说出。Assessment 2 以同桌对话的形式运用听力材料中提取的规则对句子和听力部分进行检测。Assessment 3 以两人对话的形式检测学生是否掌握祈使句,can和cant。Assessment 4 运用所学句型,小组讨论我校的规则并能用英语展示出。Assessment 5 由学生总结本节课的重点知识。(检测学生是否掌握祈使句。)学习过程:Step 1. Free Talk.Let students do their own conversations freely.Step 2. Lead-in.Let students discuss: what can you do at school or in the classroom? What cant you do?(1) Discuss in groups by themselves.(2) Call some students to show their idea.(3) Give them some advice.Step 3. Presentation.1. Ptesent some activities, let students say what we can do and what we cant do. We can . We cant .2. Make a survey. (tickor cross) - Can we .? - Yes, we can. / No, we cant.Assessment 1 Let students read the sentences to check the words and sentences.3. Do some listening. (Section A 2a and 2b)(1) Explain how to do these parts.(2) Listen to the tape, let students write down the answers by themselves.(3) Discuss and check the answers in groups.(4) Call some students to give answers.(5) Listen and check answers together.4. Do pairwork.Student A is Alan and Student B is Cindy. Talk about the rules in 2a.(1) Give them an example.(2) Prepare the conversations by themselves.(3) Call some students to act out.(4) Check the sentences together.Assessment 2 Check how many students can understand the listening material fully.5. Present Imperative Sentences.(1) Show the picture on the screen.(Section A 1a) Then ask and answer:T: Can they fight ?Ss: No, they cant. They cant fight.T: So, dont fight.(Use the same way to show the school rules: Dont eat in the classroom. You must eat in the dining hall. Dont run in the hallways. Dont listen to music in class. Dont arrive late for class. You must be on time.) (2) Do Section A 1a. Which rules are these students breaking?Write the number of the rule next to the student. Do this exercise by themselves. Call some students to show the answers. Look and say. Check amswers together. Read the school rules together. (3) Do some listening. (Section A 1b) Tell them how to do this part. Listen to the tape, let students write down the answers by themselves. Call some students to give answers. Listen and check answers together.(4) Do pairwork.Student A is a new student. Student B tells Student A about the rules above. Give them an example. Prepare the conversations by themselves. Call some students to act out. Check the sentences together.Assessment 3 Check how many students can grasp the sentences and understand the listening material fully.6. Discuss: What other rules do you know in our school? (1) Discuss in groups. (2) Walking around the classroom, give them some help. (3) Call some students to show the sentences. (4) Give them some advice: Dont have long hair for boys. Dont talk with each other in class.Dont play cards in school. Dont play cards in school. Dont smoke . Its bad for your health. Dont sleep in class. Dont dance in the classroom. Dont Assessment 4 Check how many students can use new sentence structure.Step 4. Summary. 祈使句是表示请求、命令、叮嘱、号召、劝告等的句子; 通常省略主语you; 句中谓语动词用动词原形; 句尾一般用降调; 祈使句的开头是动词原形。祈使句有肯定和否定两种:e.g. Lookout! 小心! Waithereforme! 在这等我! Come in, please! 请进! Sit down, please. 请坐。 Lets go home. 我们回家吧。 否定的祈使句是在动词原形前(即句首)加Dont. e.g. Dont talk in class! 不要在课常上讲话! Dont open the window! 别开窗! Dont arrive late for school. 上学别迟到 ! Dont smoke! /No smoking ! 别吸烟!Assessment 5 Check how many students grasp Imperative Sentences.Step 5. Self-check in class. 把下列祈使句改成否定句1. Sit down.2. Come in.3. Eat at home.4. Listen to music outside.5. Do your homework at school.Step 6. Homework.Think about the family rules and school library rules. Then write them down.反思:本节课主要是通过学校规则引出并练习祈使句。并着重练习了祈使句的否定结构。Section A的单元主题图以教室外墙壁张贴校规的形式呈现书面语体的规章制度,再通过听说活动导入到口头谈论规章制度的情景中,让学生体会,学习不同语体中目标语言的表达。在此基础上,学生通过对语法的学习及操练进一步强化新的语言内容,为学习Section B打下基础。其中1a-1c导入本单元的话题和部分重要语言结构。1a活动利用学生常见的班规,校规为线索介绍新语言,便于激活学生背景知识,使他们利用已有的经验进行学习建构。1b活动是1a内容的自然延续,旨在通过听让学生体会教师对规章制度的口头陈述形式,让学生进一步熟悉祈使句的结构。2a-2c重点学习在口语交流中如何运用情
