Meanwhile, students can enlarge their vocabulary related to traffic.教学目标:By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:(1) enlarge their vocabulary related to traffic;(2) know the advantages and disadvantages of different means of transport;(2) communicate with their partners in English more fluently and more actively.教学重难点:Students know the advantages and disadvantages of different means of transport.课前准备:Multimedia.教学过程:Step 1 Warm-upHow do you usually go to school from your home?What other means of transport do you know?【设计意图】本单元的话题是交通堵塞。本节英语课聚焦至交通工具,导入环节的问题,联系学生日常生活,从而引入本届课的话题。Step 2 Fast readingRead the passage and answer the questions.1. What does the passage talk about?2. There are many words and expressions related to means of transport.教学目标:By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:(1) master the new words and expressions;(2) apply the knowledge to practical use;教学重难点:Students apply the knowledge to practical use.课前准备:Multimedia.教学过程:Step 1 Lead-inTaxis are on the streets 24 hours a day. In this lesson, students will listen to five speakers talking about traffic problems. Then they will discuss the ways of solving them. Meanwhile, they can master some expressions that can be used to give advice. 教学目标:By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:(1) get the main idea of what the five speakers talk about;(2) improve the listening and speaking abilities;(3) raise the awareness of traffic problems and solving them;(4) communicate with partners smoothly and actively.教学重难点:Get the correct information in the listening material.课前准备:Multimedia.教学过程:Step 1 Lead-inHave you ever been stuck in a traffic jam?
