They also have the abilities of self-teaching and working in groups. Most of them are willing to express their opinions in English.2. Analysis of Teaching ContentLesson 8 is the second lesson in Unit 2, Book 5.This unit focus on the subject great people. Students cares about the subject because it is close to everyone. Lesson 8 mainly talks about Albert Einsteins lifetime, meanwhile taught the students to love life, work hard and never give up! 教学目标 【知识目标】1. To master the words: universe, thought, mind, century, lifetime, solve, relativity, false, Switzerland, anyone, death2. To master the phrases: Theory of Relativity be famous for=be well-known for do with go on to do give up doing sth pass away 3. To master the sentence patterns:be famous for; be famous as stop doing sth, stop to do sth in the field of 【能力目标】Improve their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing. 【情感目标】To be happy to have a successful life.【教学重点】To use the new words and phrases to talk about the great people.【教学难点】How to use the phrases and structures of sentences. 课前准备 Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学过程Step 1. Warm-upEnjoy a video about Albert Einstein.Step 2. Presentation1. Introduce Albert Einstein and enjoy the Princeton University.2.
