Revise and learn some new words about food and lifestyles. 2. Improve the skills of looking for the main idea and details of an article.3. Know about the relationship between food and health.【能力目标】To use the sentences in context.【情感目标】利用多种游戏或活动形式培养学生对英语学习的浓厚兴趣。 教学重难点【教学重点】Learn the language points in this article.【教学难点】通过阅读活动,引导学生通过阅读抓住关键信息,了解故事大意,通过角色扮演,让学生巩固和运用本单元所学核心词汇和句型。 课前准备Tape recorder, Multimedia. 教学过程Step 1. Lead-inFree talk (1) What do you often eat for three meals a day?(2) Do you know how to eat healthily?(3) Do you like eating sugar? Eating too much sugar is bad for our teeth. Do you think so?(4) Do you often drink cola? Cola is unhealthy. How to change this bad habit?(5) If you are not strong or healthy enough, what do you plan to do?Step 2. Listen and read1. Listen and repeat the dialogue.2. Work in pairs, then act it out.T: Lets listen to a conversation between Hobo and Eddie. Find out the answers to the following two questions.(1) What does Eddie want to eat?(2) Why does Hobo want to have apples?Step 3. PresentationTo have a healthy lifestyle is very important. For breakfast we can have something like milk and bread. For lunch we should eat more, like beef, fish, rice and some vegetables. They can give us enough energy. We should not eat too much for supper because we do fewer activities in the evening. Doing enough exercise is necessary. Swimming is good exercise.Step 4. PracticePresent the important sentences structures on the screen and ask students to talk about their own favourite festivals. T: Now lets make up a new dialogue to talk about what food you like or dislike. You can make up a new dialogue according to the following pattern. Then Id like to invite some pairs to act out the dialogue.Pattern: A: I like How about you? B: I like A: Do you like ? They are/ It is my favourite. B: Yes, I like them/it, too. / No, I dont like them/it. What about ? A: I like It is/ They are B: I dont like What about you?A: Step 6. Homework1. Write
