Unit 7 A busy day (The first period) 主备人:李霞Teaching content: Part A Read and sayTeaching aims:1. 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词和词组: half 、tooth 、a busy day 、 brush ones teeth 、a quarter 2、能听懂并能运用句型:What time is it ? Its time for Do you want to? I want to Are you ready for breakfast? Lets hurry. 3、能够理解并熟读课文。4、初步了解时间的英文表达法。Teaching emphasis:1、四会单词和词组。2、理解并能熟练朗读课文。Teaching difficulty:文中重点句型的运用与理解。Teaching aids:磁带、录音机、钟面教具Teaching steps:Step 1 Preparation1. Say a rhyme A letter for me2. Free talk.Step 2 Presentation1、 教师先利用钟面拨动时间来复习时间的顺序表达法和动词词组:get up 、 have breakfast 、watch TV 、do ones homework.T: What time is it?S: Its six oclock.T: Its time to get up.2、 将钟面指针拨到6:30,引出时间的逆序表达及短语 brush my teethT: What time is it?S: Its six thirty.T: Yes, its half past six.(呈现half past six) 释义并教读。 Im brushing my teeth.(做动作,让学生先理解,然后呈现brush my teeth,并适时呈现teeth的单数tooth.)3、 将钟面时间拨到6:50,同上教学,呈现ten to seven ,板书,释义,初步了解to 的用法。4、 询问学生:What time do you go to school? S: I go to school at 7:20.教师将钟面上的时间拨到7:15,说:Its a quarter past seven.(呈现并教学 a quarter) Its late . Lets hurry.(呈现并教学 Lets hurry).5 、T: Its time to go to school. Its time to meet my good friend. I need to meet him. Do you want to meet him? Do you want to go to school with me? Let the students try to answer the questions. ( Teach the new drill: Do you want to)5、 借助挂图,呈现课文背景:Its Thursday .David has a busy day.
