I like Why? Because its I can本课主要学习四会单词:spring, summer, autumn, winter, sunny, cloudy, windy, rainy, cool, warm及活动短语。本课内容比较贴近学生的实际生活,语言运用情景也比较真实。通过学习掌握四季的名称和特点,同时通过对课文重点句子的练习与同伴交谈,了解其他人的季节喜好及原因,并在此基础上进一步运用所学,描述最喜欢的季节,提高学生听、说、读、写综合素质能力。二、Introduction of the teaching target 本课面向的是已有一定英语基础的六年级学生,经过近四年的学习,学生们已经具备了初步的听、说、读、写能力,尤其是听、说、读的能力。另外他们还具备了一定的计算机操作能力。因此,他们完全有能力在教师引导下进行网络环境下的自主性学习。同时,本单元的教学内容又贴近于学生的生活,因此本课时的教学内容对学生来说不难理解,关键是日常生活中的综合运用,懂得从身边做起,做环境小卫士,为大自然的和谐出份力!三、Teaching objectives1认知目标:通过学习,使学生掌握四会单词:spring, summer, autumn, winter.掌握日常交际用语:Which season do you like best? I like Why? Because its I can2能力目标:通过互动型的教学途径,培养学生的创新精神和将所学的英语运用于日常交际的能力,提高学生的语言能力和学习能力,让学生得到自我发展和个性发展。3情感目标:(1)通过给国外朋友写信,养成助人为乐的品质;(2)了解中国不同地方的季节和天气是有差异的,培养爱国热情;(3)知道气候影响人类生活,同时更要认识到人类的行为也会影响到气候,增强环保意识。4文化目标: 了解国内外生活差异,开拓视野。5策略目标: (1)学生能积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流;(2)对所学内容能主动练习和实践;(3)积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。 四、Key words & expressions in communication1.能掌握表示季节的单词,能正确表达季节及气候特征。 2.能听懂、会说、会读句子:Which season do you like best? I like Why? Because its I can,并能正确、熟练地运用。五、Teaching importance 能灵活运用所学句型进行日常口语交际,流利表达自己喜好的理由。六、Teaching methods1.创新:单词的教学突破传统的跟读法,学生在教师提供的简单、真实的语境中学习新单词,做到语音和意义的有机结合,使单词教学更加有效。句型教学减少机械性操练,让学生在学习新知时带有目的性地去理解、记忆,不仅达到识记的要求,而且能够做到简单的运用。2.突破:给学生充分自由的空间,新单词、句型的传授、巩固、拓展都是以学生为主体,整个过程中除了教师必要的示范外,都是让学生自己探索、巩固。3.回归:“问天气”是生活中常见的情景,为了增强语言的真实性,使学生有身临其境之感,我从学生身边的教学资源入手,为学生创设真实的语言环境。让学生在活动中学习语言、运用语言、调动了学生的学习积极性,提高了课堂的教学效率。七、Teaching preparation1. Teacher: 地球仪、图片、多媒体课件、表格、信纸和展板等;2. Students:课前查询不同城市不同季节的天气情况,以及在各季节能穿的服装和能做的事情。八、Teaching stages and proceduresStep1. Warm-up activities1. Play a game 教师说出某类物品或现象的总称,如,clothes (sports或weather),学生快速说出所包含的单词,如coat, shirt, dress, jacket和skirt等,看谁回答的快而准确。【设计意图:快速复习与本课有关的词汇,人的服装、活动均和天气密不可分,不仅为学生学习和运用相关的句型打下基础,也活跃了课堂气氛。】2. Watch a rhyme Dad: Nice weather, honey! Mom: The days are getting longer!Dad: May and Daniel often like this kind of weather.Mom: Yeah, they can enjoy themselves in the day time and it is not so hot.Dad: Honey, how about taking them to the beach this weekend?Mom: Thats great! Dad: Since last time we climbed the mountain, we havent gone out for a long time. Mom: And this kind of weather is rare for the season either.Dad: Yes, I remember last year this time, the weather was so hot.Mom: So we must seize this chance to go to the beach.Dad: Daniel loves the beach very much!Mom: He will enjoy himself this weekend.【设计意图:贴近学生的生活,家人周末的安排因天气而定,天气决定活动,进而决定心情。让学生觉的我们所谈论的weather并不是只在书本上读一读,背一背就可以了,原来它可以运用于我们的生活。】3. T: Do you want to give some advice to Su Yangs Dad? S: Step 3. Pre-task 1. T: I like traveling, too. Last spring, I went to Hangzhou and made four new friends. Talk about the E-mailT: Where do they want to go?S4: Helen wants to visit Nanjing. Tom wants to visit Hainan. Lily wants to visit Beijing. Nancy wants to visit Harbin.T: What do they want to know?S5: Which season do we like best in these cities?T: Which is the best season in Nanjing, Hainan, Beijing and Harbin? Do you know? Show a map of a China to the students and find the four places. 2. 当谈到Harbin或Hainan时,鼓励学生说出: Its hot/ cold in spring/ autumn/ summer/ winter. 3. Get into four groups: Nanjing Group, Hainan Group, Beijing Group and Harbin Group. Talk about the four seasons in these cities. T: You know about the four seasons in your city. Please introduce it to others in your group. If you finish, put your forms on the board to make a travel guide.4. Talk about the weather in these cities. T: Whats the weather like in summer in Nanjing? S6: Its hot and rainy.【设计意图:本环节中,学生组成小组调查一个城市四季的天气、穿衣和适宜开展的活动,每两个人调查一个季节。课上通过小组合作的方式进行交流,使每个小组成员对这个城市的四季都有所了解,也使不同的信息得到共享。最后各组把这些信息贴在展板上,汇编成不同城市的“旅游指南”,使每组都有一种成就感。】5. 呈现重点句型并进行示范用法1) T: Which season do you like best in ? There is a saying: An apple a day the doctors keep away.2) 教师在北京旅游指南展板上秋天的位置上贴上一个大拇指贴画,表示Lucy最喜欢的季节是秋天。3)学生两人一组,根据自己对季节的喜好情况运用本课所学的句型进行操练。4) rainy 和windy 两个单词教学时设计了听音猜天气的环节。【设计意图:把真实的场景搬到课堂中来,让学生在学习语言的过程中感受它的有趣、有意和有用,让他们在实践性学习活动中表现学习英语的潜力、发挥其创造性的才能。并鼓励学生通过自主学习掌握方法,达到自由运用,比如在本课时中,笔者有意识的渗透一些认读单词的方法:“sun-sunny ,cloud-cloudy, sea-season”等单词可以根据已认识的单词来联想读出新单词,而“rest best ”等又可以通过改变单个字母的发音来认读新单词。】Step 5.
