Step2 Presentationshow some pictures and learn new words and phrases: a tiny baby、 sing to sb 、stay by ones side、run through the field、 give sb. a hug 、keep me from danger、regret doing sth、talk/ shout back、 lift sb. up .Then students read together.Step3 Pre-readingFirst , Listen and enjoy the poem. Then, answer one question: What kind of text(课文) is it? Last, students read together and match the main idea of each paragraph.Step4 While-reading1、students read part1 carefully and answer two questions: 1. What did the mom do when the writer was a baby? 2. How did the writer feel about his moms love?(1 word) . Then, do a reading game: who can read better.2、students read part 2 an part 3 and answer one question: 1. How did the writer feel about his moms love when he was a child or a teen ? (1 word) . Then students role play part 2 an part 3.3、students read part4 and answer one question: 1. How does the writer feels about his moms love when he becomes an adult? (1 word) Step5 After-readingAfter you learn the passage, students discuss:How does the writers feeling changed? Then read the poem with your feelings.Step 6 exerciseStudents use the words and phrases they learned just now to write their own poem.Step 7 Homework1、 Read the poem “Mom Knows Best” aloud and
