信息技术与小学英语相结合的教学设计汉川东风中心小学 谭燕妮【课题名称】 PEP Primary English Book 2Unit 3 Part A.【材料分析】Lets talk部分提供学生要学习的核心句型Its+形容词。课本通过教师带学生参观动物园的场景让学生感知该句型的语义及语用情境。本部分的教学目标是要求学生能够理解对话大意,能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话,并能够在图片和教师的帮助下,在语境中运用Look at that +动物Its+形容词来交流图片上的动物特征信息。Lets learn部分继续以教师带学生参观动物园作为语境呈现要学习的四个形容词。三年级学生对高、矮、肥、瘦四个形容词的概念比较熟悉,教师应对已学过的fat,tall,short的基础上侧重词形认读的训练,强化听说,认读技能的培养。Lets do歌谣的内容比简单,主要重复了四个描述性的形容词,学生可以通过听唱歌谣对形容词的音义进行巩固操练;也可以用于单词形和义的配对与强化训练。Letspell 分为语音和书写两部分,语音部分主要学习字母i在单词中的短音发音。教学目标是通过拆音、拼音和分类等活动培养学生的语音意识,帮助学生归纳字母i在单词中的短音发音;书写部分要求学生通过描红单词初步掌握单词书写的要求并辨认词形。【教学目标】 一、能力目标 1 能够用所学的词汇与句型“Look at that +动物。Its+形容词。”2 能够利用形容词来描述某动物的特征。 二、知识目标 1 熟练掌握单词tall, short, fat, thin,和课文中一些重点句子。 。 2 能够掌握元音字母I 在闭音节中的发音规律并正确发音。 三、情感、文化目标 培养学生热爱动物,热爱大自然的情感。 【教学重难点】 1 重点:掌握元音字母I 在闭音节中的发音;掌握单词tall, short, fat, thin的听、说、认读;句型“Look at that +动物。Its+形容词”的运用。 2 难点:元音字母I 在闭音节中的发音规律;能够正确使用形容词;听懂Lets do部分的指令并做出相应的动作。【课前准备】 多媒体课件 录音机、奖励小星星,CAI、课文磁带、教学单词卡片、动物卡片等。 【教学步骤】 Ill finish part A from eight activities , First, I divide students into four groups and bring a competition into the class. At last, lets see which group is the winner.【Activity 1】: At the beginning of the lesson, I will have some small talks. I will shake hands, hug with them to make them relax. Then I play “ lets chant” .In this course, I ask all the students to stand up and do some actions with teachers while they are singing, after that, I ask four students from each of group to come to blackboard to do the same work. At last, each of them can get a star.1. Greeting. T: How are you? Ss: Im fine, thank you. And you? T: Very well, thanks.2. Lets chant.T: Lets chant about animals, OK?Ss: OK.T: Look at the cat, It is fatSs: Look at the cat, It is fatPurpose: In this part, I design “Lets chant”as warming-up, I think its very important to form a better English learning surrounding for students by imitating. At the same time, its necessary to provide the situation to review the learned knowledge.【Activity2】: First, I show several pictures about animals ,and ask students “what s this? ” and help them answer, its a panda /an elephant /a dog /a monkey. Then I write them on the blackboard. After that, I go on showing more pictures. T: Look at this monkey, Its very thin ,be thin, be thin, be thin, thin, thin, ask students to read “thin” three times.T: Look at that monkey, Its very fat ,be fat, be fat, be fat, fat, fat, ask students to read “fat” three times.T: Look at this giraffe, Its so tall ,be tall, be tall ,be tall, tall, tall, ask students to read “tall” three times.T: Look at the baby giraffe, Its very short ,be short, be short, be short, short, short, ask students to read “ short” three times. Purpose: Students quickly get into the class atmosphere through pictures, teach students to study new animals words, then according to the personalities of the animals, lead the new sentence structures Its +adjectives”。 【Activity3】: Play“Lets do”, ask all the students to stand up and do some actions with teachers while they are singing, after that, I ask four students from each of group to come to blackboard to do the same work. At last, each of them can get a star.T: Be thin, be thin, be thin, thin, thin.Be fat, be fat, be fat, fat, fat.Be tall, be tall ,be tall, tall, tall.Be short, be short, be short, short, short.Ss: Be thin, be thin, be thin, thin, thin.Purpose: I design “Lets do”as consolidating new adjectives, help students to memory new words, in this way, let them study new knowledge in the relaxed and happy atmosphere and stimulate the studentsinterests of learning English.【Activity4】:(1)Show two watermelons/ balls/birds, ask students to talk about the differences between them.T: It is a _ watermelon/ ball/bird, but it is a _ watermelon/ ball/ bird.Ss :It is a big watermelon/ ball/ bird, but it is a small watermelon/ ball/ bird.(2)Show the tails of the monkey and pig, let students discuss their personalities.T: Its a_ tail. S: Its a long tail. T: Its a_ tail. S: Its a short tail.(3)Fill in the blanks with “long” or “short”Its a long pencil.Its a short pencil.Its a short ruler.Its a long ruler.Purpose: In this way, and help students consolidate the key words what we have just learned in a real situation.【Activity5】:(1)In order to consolidate the new words, I show a picture of elephant, I ask students to talk about the personality of the elephant as quickly as possible, discuss them in a group.T: Its so .S1: Its so big.T: It has a nose.S2: It has a long nose.T: It has a tail.S3: It has a short tail.T: It has and .Ss: It has a long nose and a short tail.T: It has eyes.S4: It has small eyes.T: It has ears.S5: It has big ears.T: It has and .Ss: It has big ears and small eyes.(2) Lets play a game, act and guess “fat, thin ,tall, short” , the students who say most will be the winner. T: Fat ( Tell a student in a very low voice in front of the classroom, then the student act, the other students guess , at last, the students who say most will be the winner. )Ss: fatPurpose: Let students communicate with each other and adopt competition methods to develop studentskeen interest in learning English. I will give them two stars to develop studentsabilities of communication and cooperation by learning the useful sentences and provide them a wide thinking room. 【Activity6】:(1)This part is more difficult, but its very important and useful to them. So I give students five minutes to do it. I ask students to discuss the personality of the monkey by using the adjectives we have just learned with their group members, complete the chart and make a report like this: A: Look at that monkey. Its fat.B: Look at this monkey. Its thin.C: Yes. Look at that giraffe. Its so tall.A: Wow! A baby giraffe. B&C: Its so short.(2)Riddle. (Discuss it in group work and guess Whats it?).a .T: It has small eyes. It has four short legs. It has a big body. It has a short tail. S: Pig. b. T: It has a small nose. It has a long tailIt has small eyes and small ears. It has long arms and long legs.S: Monkey. c. T: It has a small nose. It has a long tailIt has small eyes and small ears. It has long arms and long legsS: Rabbit. Purpose: Through group work, develop students ability of working in pairs and train the students abilities of communication and cooperation. Through guessing the animals, I think it can improve the students listening and speaking ability and stimulate the interest of learning English and provide them a wide thinking room. 【Activity 7】:a. Learn the pronunciation of the letter I, play the tape “pig this sit fish”. b. Listen to the tape and follow, every group reads lets spell ,ask a student summary the rules of pronunciation .lets see which group is winner, then give a star.T: Try to read out these words. Can you find the same sound?Ss: Yes.T: Listen and follow the tape , please.T: Look and think, which letter is the same in the four words?Ss: Letter “i”.T: What is the sound?Ss:/i/.
