Student analysis 通过Section A的学习,学生已经能用过去时态和状语从句讲简单的故事。学生学习兴趣较浓,喜欢童话故事。在本课时的学习中,1a先解决新单词,为后面的听力扫除障碍,1b让学生给图片排序,对1c填空做了充分的铺垫作用。 通过Section A的学习,因为本班学生属于中等层次的水平,学生都有很大的提升空间,由于对童话故事感兴趣,所以积极性都比较高。虽掌握了一些基础知识,但综合运用英语的能力和习惯还没有形成,从英语文章中获取信息和用英语表达的能力还有待提高。求知欲和表现参与意识很强,需要教师积极引导。教师应该抓住契机,通过小组学习、口语表演等活跃课堂气氛,使学生愉快学习,真正做学习的主人,引导学生养成积极乐观的学习态度。Teaching procedures.Step1.Leading-in and warming-up1. Students introduce their favorite stories and review what they have learned.2. Show one picture of the story The Emperors New Clothes and get the Ss to talk about it in groups.Whats the name of this story? Can you tell the story briefly? Step2. Presentation 1. Pre-listening (1).New points input Present the new words on the big screen and learn the new words together. Ss read and try to remember the new words. silk, emperor, underwear, gold, stupid, cheatRemember the new words by a game.(2). Activity 1a Ask one student to read words in 1a. Tell Ss to match the words with the letters in the pictures in 1b. Let some Ss tell their answers. Then check together. 2.While listening (1). Activity 1bGuide Ss to look at the pictures in 1c. Tell them these are the pictures from the story The Emperors New Clothes. Ss can make a prediction before listening.Listen to the tapes and number the pictures. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and number the pictures.(2).Activity 1cGuide Ss to listen for the learning challenges and fill in the blanks.3. Post-listening (1).Play the recording again and ask them to answer the questions:Whats the name of the story?Is it a traditional Chinese story? Whats the emperors hobby? Why were the new clothes special?How do we know that the two brothers were really trying to cheat the emperor? Why didnt anyone say that the new clothes were really nice?Who said that the emperor wasnt wearing any clothes?This part can make Ss know the story better and make it easier for them to retell the story later.(2).Retelling: students look at the key words and the pictures to retell the story.Step3. Show time Students work in groups and role play the story.Step4.
