An old man tried to move the mountains?Period Section A (3a-3c)整体设计思路、指导依据说明1.本单元的主题是讲述“古今中外传统故事”。这节课的设计原理源于“2014年英语新课标”,课标指出“4级目标”作为八年级的英语教学的总目标。本阶段的英语教学,以激发学生学习兴趣为目标,培养学生小组合作精神,提升解决问题能力,在互帮互助过程中,尝试先进的多媒体技术辅助教学,拓展课外知识。2.本课时为第二课时,以中国人家喻户晓的西游记视频引入,视频中人物角色由学生扮演录制的,充分激发学生兴趣,调动学生参与课堂的积极性。3. 学生能够描述故事中的人物角色的外貌和性格特征,并从故事中的人物学习一些可贵的精神品质,运用到学习生活中。例如孙悟空的勇敢,善良,乐于助人等品质,对学生都产生一定的积极影响。4. 形式及资源:在教学活动中,主要以“课本资源、导学案”为活动载体;以“学生小组合作”为活动形式;以“微课”作为课前导入的有效方式; 引导学生深入学习本节课内容。Information about the class教学背景分析教学内容分析:1.本课是本单元的第二课时,旨在让学生学习传统故事中的人物角色,通过快速阅读,精读等阅读方式,体会故事的主要意思,并了解故事中主要人物角色的特征。通过小组合作,互相讲述所学故事。并从故事中学习一些可贵的精神品质。2.学习“传统故事”,目的是感受不同国度的文化特征和差异,让学生能从故事中学习和领悟一定的道理,学习孙悟空的顽强不屈,乐于助人的优秀品质,并且运用到学习生活中,达到教书育人的德育效果。学生情况分析:1.八年级的学生对西游记这一传统故事并不陌生;本节课主要引导学生掌握一定的阅读技巧,并且学习故事中人物可贵的精神品质,从而达到育人的教育目的。2.该班整体英语水平较好,英语学习兴趣高,氛围浓厚,总体朗读和口语水平较好。班级中有12名同学的英语基础较好,4名英语口语出色,6名学生基础相对薄弱,不敢开口。于是在教学过程中,将班级学生以6人一组进行分组,将不同层次的学生均衡分配,尽量做到每一个小组英语水平相当。对于英语薄弱的学生,注意上课时分层教学,同时安排优生对其进行辅导,形成互帮互助的学习氛围。3.根据该班学生的英语基础和性格特点,老师设计了一系列的活动吸引不同层次学生,激发他们学习英语的热情和提升参与课堂的积极性。(例如:观看视频、现场人物角色扮演,小组合作,同伴对话等)。Lesson aims学习目标Knowledge aim: Key words and phrases: head hoop, tail, magic stick, character, turnintoAbility aims:1.Students are able to grasp the reading skills “fast- reading, detailed-reading” ;2. Talk about their favorite characters.Anticipated difficulties教学难点预测Solutions 解决方法Students are too shy to open their mouths to speak English.Encourage some confident students to help the shy students.Give some candies as presents to encourage them to speak English.Students dont know how to retell the story.At first, the teacher tries to lead students to retell the story according to the pictures and the black board design.Rationale可行性分析Students have already known about the story in Chinese version. So its not difficult for student to understand the main idea of the story. However, its not easy for students to retell the story in English and learn the valuable spirits from the main character. Because they are sometimes lack of confidence and too shy.
