He/She has curly hair./she is of medium build.What do you/they look like?Do you know David? No/Yes2.能力目标:1) 提高听读能力。2) 能抓住人物的主要特征来描述人物的外貌。3) 能概括人物的外貌特征并根据人物特征推理出某一人物。4) 能和合作伙伴互相交流,充分交换信息,进行合作学习。3.情感态度目标:1) 让学生学会友好地描述别人的形象。教育学生不要以貌取人,要多发现别人的优点,学会赞美别人。2) 懂得心灵美比外表美更重要。、Teaching focus and difficulty教学重点: 掌握本课新单词和句型并熟练掌握描述人物外貌的方法。教学难点:熟练掌握描述人物外貌的方法并成功的根据人物特征推理出某一人物。、Teaching aidsPictures radio、Teaching procedureStep1 warming upAsk two students to make a report. Step 2 Leading inAccording to the report , we lead in the topic of this unit. Review some words about peoples looks. Present the target language of this unit,lead the structure we will learn in this unit.“what does he look like?” Step 3 procedures1.Look at the pictures, learn some words about people.2 .Turn to page 41, read the words together, then match the words with the people in the picture.3. Listen to the tape and fill in the blank in the picture.4. Read the dialogue in 3c, draw a picture about describe one of your friends. then describe him/her.5. Analyze the structure “what does he look like?”“what do/does he/she/you/they look like?”Step 4 Guessing gameWork in groups, each group has more than four people,let one group describe a famous people or classmate. Ask another group to guess who it is. Give students a few minutes to prepare it.Step 5 Practice Look at me, think about some words to describe me .Step 6 Summary 1.Review and learn some useful words and expressions (tall ,short, heavy, thin , medium height, medium build, long curly hair, black hair, straight hair, pop singer, movie actor, wears glasses ) 2.
