过去进行时态卢龙县蛤泊镇中学:朱丽霞知识点1、过去进行时态的定义;2、过去进行时态的结构与句型变化;3、过去进行时态的用法;教学目标知识:掌握过去进行时态的定义,句型结构和变化以及该时态的用法。方法:要牢记过去进行时态的用法,结构和句型变化.能力:1、能够辨别出过去进行时态;2、掌握过去进行时态的用法和句型结构变化。教学重点1、过去进行时态的运用的注意事项2、过去进行时态中when和while的用法教学难点1、过去进行时态中when和while的用法2、过去进行时态的运用的注意事项教学过程一、复习过去进行时态a、概念:过去进行时时表示过去某一时刻或某时间内正在进行或发生的动作。可以从两个方面理解1、过去某一时刻正在进行或发生的动作They were playing football at ten yesterday morning. My mother was cooking when I got home. 2、过去某阶段持续进行的动作What were you doing when the rainstorm came.b、结构:was / were +v - ingc、时间状语:at that timeat five yesterdaythenthis time yesterdaythe whole morning 或when, while引导的过去时间状语从句二、做题时易见错误 1、易把be+现在分词记成be+过去分词He is talked to his mom at that time.He was talking to his mom at that time.过去进行时与现在进行时结构上的区别在be动词上。2、对动词或动词词组提问时丢掉doingWe were reading at 5:00p.m. yesterdayWhat were you doing at 5:00p.m. yesterday.现在进行时Whatdoing?句式同样适用与过去进行时。3、丢掉be动词或忘记把动词变成现在分词I watch TV when he came inI was watching TV when he came inThey were play computer games at 5:00pm yesterday.They were playing computer games at 5:00pm yesterday.现在进行时be+现在分词缺一不可的规律也可应用于过去进行时4、易于现在进行时弄混My mother was cooking (cook) when I got home这两种时态的共同点是都表示动作正在进行,但现在进行时前提是现在,而过去进行时前提是过去,由when I got home可看出前提是过去。5、在宾语从句中当主句是过去时,从句若是现在进行时,需要变成过去进行时。He said that he was drawing ( draw) a car at noon yesterday.6、易于一般过去时弄混这两种时态的共同点都用于表示过去发生的动作,但过去进行时强调动作正在进行,“在”说明正在进行。而一般过去时则表示过去某一时间所发生的动作或存在的状态,它表示的动作往往已经完成。昨晚我读了一本故事书。(已读完)I read a story book last night.昨晚我在读一本故事书。(未读完)I was reading a story book last night.When和while 的区别I was walking to school when I saw a cat in a tree.主句的动作是持续性的,而从句动作是短暂性的,此时用( when )引导时间状语从句,主句用(过去进行时态 ),从句用(过去进行时态)。当Tom到家时,他妈妈正在打扫房间。When Tom arrived home, his mother was cleaning the house.While的用法David fell while he was riding his bike. 主句的动作是短暂性的,从句的动作是持续性的,此时用(while )引导从句,主句用(一般过去时态),从句用(过去进行时态 )。 eg : 当我在卧室睡觉时,爸爸进来了。My father came in while I was sleeping in the bed room.主句和从句的动作在过去某时刻或某段时间同时发生,而且动作都是持续性时,此时用(while)引导从句,而且主句和从句都(过去进行时 ).Bens dad was putting pieces of wood over the windows while his mom was making sure the flashlights and radio were working.三、Exercise1、( ) the telephone rang, he was reading.2、( ) he was reading, the telephone rang.3、Bob was sleeping ( ) his mother was sleeping.4、I was studying here ( ) the rainstorm came.5、Dont use your phone ( ) youre driving.四、Homework1.What_ from three to four yesterday afternoon?
