Unit 7 Its raining!Section A 2a-2d教学设计王 杰一、教学目标:1. 语言知识目标1)能掌握基本时态:现在进行时态:be +V-ing.能掌握以下词汇及词组:cook, bad, park, him, could, problem, take a message, call sb. back, have a good time, tell him to能掌握以下句型:. -Hows it going (with you)? Great/ Pretty good/ Not bad/ Too bad. Can I take a message for him? Yes. Could you just tell him to call me back? Sure, no problem. 2)描述正在发生的动作。 2. 技能目标: a、学生通过观察图片,能知晓并正确描述图片中所发生的事情。b、学生能运用现在进行时态描述正在发生的动作。3. 情感目标: 教育学生通过对正在发生的动作进行表达,培养学生热爱生活,观察生活的习惯。 二、教学重难点: 1. 教学重点:1) The vocabulary and useful expressions. 2)What are you doing? Im playing basketball. 2. 教学难点:通过对天气的问答过渡到目标语言的问答及问答其他人正在进行的活动。三、教材分析本课时旨在让学生掌握现在进行时态的用法,用现在进行时态描述正在发生的事情。2d的示范对话通过打电话的情景融入了Hows it going? Its great.等常用语“打招呼”的交际用语,同时,还谈论天气和人们正在从事的活动。四、教学过程:Step I. Revision and Lead in (Show some pictures of the weather on the big screen.) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask Ss Hows the weather? / “Whats the weather like”? Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S1: Its sunny. Hows the weather in Shanghai? Its cloudy.Step II. Presentation T: Hows the weather in Pujiang? S: ItsT: Lets look at what my friends are doing? (inside / outside)1. Guessing Game and pair work (Show some pictures of the daily activities) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them “What is he/she doing”? Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Let Ss look at the pictures in 2a. T: Jim is calling his cousin Linda. He is asking about her family. Look at the pictures and answer the question: What is Lindas family doing in the pictures? Step III. Listening 1. Work on 2a. LetsseewhatJoesfamiliesaredoing.Pointtothe4pictures. 2. AskSstelleachpersonisdoingineachpicture.Moreattentionsshouldbepaid tothecorrectuseofthePresentProgressiveTense. 3. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures 1-4. 4.PlaythetapeforSstocheck the answers. 5.BrainstormingPlaythetapeforanothertime.Thendoamemorytest. AskSs:WhatsUncleJoe/Jeff/Mary/AuntSarahdoing?WhatreScottandLucydoing?IsJeffwatchingTV? etc. 6. Let Ss match the names with the activities in 2b. Play the recording for the Ss to check the answers. Step IV. Pair work 1. Look at the pictures and talk about the people in 2a with a partner. Ask a student the questions as a model:T: Whats Uncle Joe doing? S1: Hes playing basketball. 2. Story time: Withthewholepicture,getsomeSstotellthestoryofit. Model: This is Uncle Joes family. They are doing different things. Uncle Joe is playing Aunt Sally is cooking. Jeff is And Mary isStep V. Role-play the conversation in 2dShow pictures and ask:T: Look at the picture, this is a park. Is the weather good or bad? My friends Steve, Jeff and Tom are playing soccer in the park. They are having a good time. I want to talk to Tom. But he is not there now. What can I do? So I call Steve and ask him to take a message for me. I want Tom to call me back.Lets go and see what they are talking about.Task 1. Listen to the tape and ask: 1) Are they talking on the phone or talking face to face? 2) Who does Steve want to talk to?Task 2. Read the conversation again and answer the questions 1) How is the weather?2) Whats Steve doing?3) Whats Ricks brother doing?4) What does Steve want Ricks brother to do? Task 3. Let Ss role-play the conversation in pairs. 1) Read after the tape. 2) Group work: Ask Ss to choose A: Read together in your own group B: Perform (表演) without books C: Need 2 Ss to read it Task 4: Summary1) 电话用语: Hello, speaking. = Hello, This is (speaking).2). 问近况: -Hows it going (with you)?
