The fifth Period (Section B 2a2c)Teaching aims:1) 能掌握以下单词: visit, Canada, summer, sit, juice, soon, vacation, hard, Europe, mountains, country 2) 能掌握以下句型: Are you studying hard or having fun? Im having a great time in Europe. Teaching important / difficult points:1) 描述在不同的天气情况中人们正在做的事情。2) 阅读短文,提高获取相关信息的能力。Moral aim: 教育学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观念。Teaching design: Step1 Warming-up1) AskWhos on duty today ? Then let him or her give a duty report.2) Ask and answer about the weather. 3) Let the students watch a video, then ask them some questions about it.Step 2 Challenge the compere1) First let the students watch a video about the weather report, then show a map of China to the students and give the students enough time to prepare for the weather report.2) Ask some students to give weather report according to the map and find “Who is the best student?”Step3 Talking 1. Look at the pictures in 2a. Talk about the pictures with a partner. Hows the weather? What are the people doing? Make a model to the Ss.S1: Hows the weather in picture a? S2: Its sunny and warm.S1: Whats the girl doing?S2: Shes sitting near the pool and drinking some juice.2. Ss work in pairs and talk about the pictures. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer the pictures aloud. Step 4. Presentation 1. Show some pictures on the big screen to present some of the new words in the postcards in 2b.2. Teach Ss the new words. Then let Ss read the new words after the teacher. Step 5. Reading 1. Fast Reading 1) Read the postcards in 2b and math each postcard with the correct picture in 2a. 2) Ss read the postcards quickly and match the postcard the correct picture, then check the answers. 3) Give the students three sentences and ask some of them to tell “true” or “false”.2. Careful reading1) Read the first postcard again and find the answers to these questions.2) Read the second postcard again and find the answers to these questions.Ss read the postcards and try to find the answers to the questions.Then check the answers with the class. 3. After Reading 1) Read the postcards again and fill in the chart with the information from the postcards in 2b. 2) Check the answers with Ss. Step 6 Language points ( If time is possible)Step 7 Homework 1. Finish off Workbook Period 32. Recite the two postcards in 2b. 说课:本课是第七单元的第5课时,属于阅读课型。重点是复习表示天气的形容词,训练现在进行时表示一段时间内正在发生的动作或状态,阅读明信片的内容,从中学习运用一些单词和短语,了解明信片的结构。以视频导入和“Challenge to the compere”即挑战主持人活动激发学生的兴趣,以听说和阅读任务驱动学生学习。因此,本
