Section A 1a1c姓名:苏福玉工作单位:涛圩中学学科年级:七年级教材版本: 人教版一、教学内容分析本课时的教学内容是人教版七年级下册英语第七单元的第一课时,重点在于引导学生通过表示世界各地天气状况的主题图片,理解small talks的语境,以谈论天气的话题,引导学生学习表示天气的形容词和how开头的询问天气的特殊疑问句及其回答的句型。运用有显著特征的世界著名城市的建筑物图片和天气状况图片引起学生的兴趣和注意,进行听、说活动,训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。因此,教师可以将本课时的知识目标定为掌握新出现的表示天气情况的形容词及raining、snowing。学会以打电话的形式谈论两个城市的天气情况的句型。情感目标定为通过话题的学习、训练,引起学生对世界各地的气候差异感兴趣和关注。二、教学目标1.记忆单词:rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather短语:the weather in Beijing2.掌握和运用现在进行时中how开头的疑问句的句型:A: Hows the weather in Shanghai? B: Its cloudy/sunny/raining.3.通过图片的提示和听力活动,学习、训练询问和回答世界各地天气情况的句型,提高英语听说能力三、学习者特征分析学生基础较弱,吸收能力并不是很强,所以第一课时尽量把内容简单化,以便学生能够较好的掌握。四、教学过程教学过程:Step.Lead inLeading in Warm up by talking about the date.T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls.Ss: Good morning/afternoon, Mr./Ms.T: (Use a calendar.) Whats the date today?S1: Its T: Yes, its early summer now.The weather is good/bad today.(Then show the pictures of the weather icons.And teach the new words.)口头复习,从复习日期引入谈论天气,然后运用图片教学单词,引导学生进入学习天气话题的语境。Leading in 1.Talk about a picture with somebody doing something and the sun to show the sunny weather.T: (Greet the class.)Hello, everyone! Good morning/afternoon! Ss: Good morning/afternoon! Mr./Ms.T: Look at this picture. What time is it?Whats the boy doing?Ss: Its morning.The boy is talking.T: What is he talking about?Ss: T: The boy is talking about the beautiful day.Its a nice day, isnt it? Today we are learning to describe weather.2.Then the teacher shows pictures or icons about the weather and teaches the new words about weather.引导学生直接从含有表示天气的“太阳”图片,进入学习表示天气的新的内容。Step.New words (1a)1.Use pictures or weather icons to present the new words of weather. Show the pictures/icons of different weather to teach the new words. T: Look at the sun! Hows the weather? Its sunny.The teacher writes the word “sun” and “sunny” on the blackboard and teaches the words.Then show other pictures and help the students to learn the new words.Write them on the blackboard.Ss read and say the words, sun, sunny/cloud, cloudy/rain, raining/snow, snowing/wind, windy.2.The teacher shows the pictures again and gets the students to ask and answer these questions in turn: A: Hows the weather in picture 1? B: Its sunny.Hows the weather in picture 2? A: Its cloudy.3.Get the class to read the word list in 1a and match the words with the pictures in 1a by themselves.Then ask them to report the weather in each picture to check their work.T: Please say a complete sentence for each picture.For example, “Its raining in picture a.”Ask some students to say the sentences.All the others check their matching job.Remind the students that the word “sunny” comes from the word “sun” and other words.4.Play a game to guess whats the weather like. Get one student to perform the weather activities and have others guess hows the weather, asking: S1: Hows the weather?S2: Is it raining?S1: No, it isnt.Then the students guess again.Finish 1a.【Keys】1a: 1.a2.b3.e4.c5.d运用图片学习表示天气的名词和形容词,并通过词形的比较对单词进行记忆,精讲多练。运用口语学习询问天气的疑问句。Step .Listening (1b)1.T: Mr.Grey is a businessman.Hes travelling around the world for business.Which cities is he going to? Look at the picture in 1a.These cities are Beijing,Moscow, Toronto, Boston and Shanghai.Where are they? Look at the map or the globe.Theyre here.(Point to the places on the map.) You can find them.So Ss learn to say the names of these places.2.T: Mr.Grey is going to Beijing, Moscow, Toronto, Boston and Shanghai.Whats the weather like there?
