课题The Magic GrowingRead and write课型读写课执教者鄞州区下应中心小学毛未波教材分析本课是第四单元的第五课时。学生在前几课时已经学习了关于日期的表达。本课的主要学习内容是Sarah写的关于小猫的生长日记。通过日记的阅读,了解日记的格式,提高阅读及表达的能力,并感受生命从孕育到生长的奇妙变化。本课的教学重点在于运用阅读策略,获取有效的信息;通过同伴间、师生间的交流以及句子、语段的仿写,提高语言表达能力。教学目标1. To understand and learn the new words “kitten, fur, still, make noises” in context.2. To understand Sarahs dairies, and be able to read it correctly and beautifully.3. To get the useful information of the diaries by using some reading strategies , such as predicting through the pictures, discussing with others, underlining the key words, etc.4. To learn how to write a diary and some basic expressions5. Enjoy the Baby Animals Song, and then talk about the animals.Greetings.T: Do you like this song? Whats the song about? What animal do you see? Whats it like? Look, the baby dog is a ? What about the baby sheep? How about the baby cat?2. Lead inT: Sarah has kittens, too. Look, they are so cute. Sarah likes them very much, so she keeps the diaries for her kittens. Lets have a look.Step1 Pre-reading1. Enjoy the Baby Animals Song and answer Ts questions.通过 The Baby Animals Song, 调动课堂英语气氛,并引出kitten,puppy, lamb等词。Step2 While reading1.The first reading(1) Find the dates in the diaries. T: These are Sarahs diaries. Can you find the dates in the diaries? Open your book and circle the dates, please.(2)Read the dates.T: What is the date of the first diary?/(3) ConcludeT: There is a date for each diary.(4)Match the photos with each dairy.T: Look,here are also some photos for the diaries. Can you match the photos with each dairy? Please listen carefully. 2. Read the first diary.1) Talk about the photo.T: Look at the first photo. What are they like? Guess, what can they do?2) Read and underlineT: What are they like? What can they do? Please read and underline the key words.T: Why they cant see?3. Read the second diary.1) Read and underlineT: How old are they on Apr. 21st? Are they still pink? Can they see? Reading Time(1)Show them the reading tips.T: Read after Sarah, pay attention to these marks. Try to read it happily and excitingly as Sarah.(2)T: Now please choose your favourite diary and read. (3)T: Who wants to read diary 1/2/3/4 ?2. Match and say(1) T: Now lets see. Their eyes open on Apr. 26. What about others? Can you match and say?2.T: First let me try. The kittens can drink milk on Apr. 15th. They can make noises on Apr. 21st. They can see on Apr. 26th. They are big and strong on May 3rd. T: Can you say more about the kittens?3. Talk about Sarahs one-year-old kittensT: On Apr. 15, they are pink, they still cant see. 6 days later, they have white fur, they can make noises. 11days later, their eyes are open. 18 days later, they can jump and play! Times flies, now they are one year old. Look, what are they like? What can they do? Lets have a look. And they can do many other things, too. 4.Writing time. T: Now its time for you to write a new diary for Sarah. You can choose one to write. Dont forget to write the date.T: Whod like to share your diary?5.
