“How tall are you?” 教学设计(Period1)小学英语（PEP）六年级下册1、教学目标（1）知识与技能1能听、说、读、写、单词younger/older/taller/shorter/longer等（四会单词）。2能听、说、读单词dinosaur/hall/metre/both等。3会运用新句型来询问他人的身高及回答的形式。4.能够简单的比较两个事物，掌握最高级的表示方法。（2）过程与方法主要通过情景对话学习询问身高的句型和最高级的表示方法，并在实际情景中自然运用。（3）情感态度与价值观关注身边的事物，加强与朋友之间的了解与沟通，学会比较小伙伴之间的身高差异，关心同学，了解自我。二、教学重难点（1）重点内容1.能听、说、读、写、单词younger/older/taller/shorter/longer等（四会单词）。2能听、说、读单词dinosaur/hall/metre/both等。（2）难点内容1会运用新句型来询问他人的身高及回答的形式。2.能够简单的比较两个事物，掌握最高级的表示方法。三、教具准备1、录音机，六年级下册一单元Lets talk部分的录音磁带和本课录音带。2、本课时的单词卡片。四、教学策略六年级是小学生学习英语的中级阶段，这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。因此，在设计课堂教学活动时一定要根据学生的情况，采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意，努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。提供角色扮演能力，在调查、比较、分析的过程中总结所学知识。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主，鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会，让他们尝试成功的喜悦。5、教学过程教学环节教学活动设计意图教学过程：Step 1.Warm-up ( revision )( 1 ) Sing a song.Whats your favorite season?( 2 ) Free talk.a.
