unit4 Why dont you talk to your parents?一、 教材分析1. 教学内容分析 本单元教材以“谈论问题及给出建议”为中心话题,围绕着“为什么不”进行。学习和运用几个常见的句型: Why dont you talk to your parents?/ My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends./ You should call him so that you can say youre sorry./ I cant get on with my family./Why dont you sit down and communicate with your brother.等。Section A 主要学习allow sb.to do sth.,work out,get on with,argue with,communicate with几个常见的动词短语及给出建议的句型。应掌握句型:Why dont you talk to your parents?/ My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends./ You should call him so that you can say youre sorry.等。Section A 3a通过一篇短文来介绍了一个孩子的问题及针对其问题所给出的建议,增加了学生的阅读量。Section B安排了听、说、读、写的任务,教师在教学中应合理利用课本上的知识进行教学。通过一篇短文“Maybe You Should Learn to Relax! ”,对学生进行阅读技巧的指导。2. 教学对象分析 八年级学生,在本学期第一单元,已经学习了询问身体不适以及给出相应建议的句型。在本单元,学生将要学习他们生活中遇到的人际交往,学业等相关的问题以及相应的建议相关的句型。 Section A 探讨当代中学生所面临的种种压力和困境,并针对这些问题给予合理的建议。 1a, 1b, 1c 要求学生针对本单元话题词汇和句型进行简单的口头操练,完成最基本的语言输出。2a, 2b, 2c ,2d 通过听和硕的互动方式深化和拓展本单元话题内容,增加了不喜欢各种劝告的理由。3a, 3b, 3c 通过3a阅读的文章复习和巩固关于烦恼和建议的句型和相关词汇。Section B 进一步拓宽本单元的话题内容,不仅探讨了如何通过各种活动来减轻压力,还比较了东西方家长对子女教育的态度和做法。1a, 1b, 1c,1d,1e,巩固前面所学的语言项目,包括描述困难,表达建议等,同时还输入了新的词汇和短语。2a,2b,2c, 阅读教学,介绍了一些中国父母和美国父母对孩子们业余活动和课外学习的安排以及想法。在阅读的基础上,总结中美家庭共同存在的问题,并且用自己的话来阐述文中不同人的观点和看法,发现和感受中西文化的不同。3a,3b Self check 材料作文,了解一些父母关于课外班的观点,然后表明同意和不同意,阐明自己的观点和理由。二、Teaching objectives 单元教学目标通过本单元的学习,使学生掌握Skill FocusLanguageFocus听Listen for problems about teenagers and advice for them说Talk about the problems about teenagers and try to give advice读1.Let the students know how to give advice.2.Let the students know how to do it when they meet problems in his/her life.写Let the students know how to give advice功能句式.1.Why dont you talk to your parents?2.My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends.3.You should call him so that you can say youre sorry.4.I cant get on with my family.5.Why dont you sit down and communicate with your brother?6.My parents give me a lot of pressure about school.7.However,the tired children dont get home until after 7:00 p.m.8.Doctors say too much pressure is not good for a childs development.词汇1. 重点词汇wrong,guess,deal,relation,communication,cloud,instead,whatever,nervous,offer,proper,explain,clear,copy,return,member,pressure,opinion,skill,typical,football,continue,crazy,development,cause,usual,perhaps,in ones opinion2. 认读词汇Cathy, Taylor3. 短语 allow sb.to do sth.,work out,get on with,argue with,communicate with,compete with,cut out,compare with4. 目标语言Why dont you talk to your parents?/ My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends./ You should call him so that you can say youre sorry./ I cant get on with my family./Why dont you sit down and communicate with your brother.语法Learn to how to give advice.话题Talk about problems and give advice.课型设计与课时分配Period 1 Listening and speaking (I)(Section A: 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, 2c)Period 2 Listening and speaking (II)(Section A:2d , Grammar Focus, 3a, 3b, 3c)Period 3 Integrating skills ( Section B: 1a, 1b,1c,1d,1e)Period 4 Reading and writing (Section B: 2a, 2b, 2c)Period 5 Reading and writing 3a, 3b, Self check三、Teaching plans for each period各课时教案 课题: unit4 Why dont you talk to your parents? (设计意图:老师展示图片简单说明自己在教学工作中的困难,引导学生谈论作为学生的他们日常生活中的难题。)研学Step2: PresentationTask1:Lets learn the problems you have according to the pictures.Task2:What could we do when we have a problem?(设计意图:在学生初步的讨论他们生活中的难题后,教师进行总结分类,学生生活中的困难,并用白板进行领读,教授本课新词汇与短语。并且引导学生思考如何解决)Task3:Page 25,1b1.Play the tape and ask the students to listen and circle the problems they hear in 1a.2.Listen again and repeat them.(设计意图:通过前面障碍的扫除,进行听力的训练,达到语言进一步输入的目的,为目标语的输出奠定基础。)Task5:Solve your group problem together.1. Discuss your group problem together.2.
