And through these questions, I can get into todays topic naturally.Step3: Learn the new phrases.Show some pictures and ask what the people did in the picture.Then read the phrases and show the past tense of each word. Purpose: Students can focus on the pictures and can remember the new phrases well. So they can do well in the game and 1a.Step4: Guessing gameI show some pictures and some sounds. They can guess what the people did through a part of the picture and the sounds.Purpose: Through a game to consolidate the new phrases. And students will have great interest in these pictures and sounds.Step5: Do 1aGive them 1 minute to finish. And check answers by making conversations like this:A: What did Lucy do in picture a?B: Lucy did her homework.Purpose: Give them more time to practice the target language and their oral English.Step6: Do listening(1) Through 1a to ask them when Lucy did these things. Then tell them to guess the answers. (2) Listen for the first time and finish 1b.(3) Check answers by asking questions(4) Listen for the second time. When they catch the time, they must say stop.(5) Listen for the third time. When they catch the activities, they must say stop.Purpose: I hope they learn to catch the main words so that they can get correct answers. And students are all willing to say stop when they catch the main words.
