People and environmentHere is no doubt that the environment problems are gradually concerned by people in china. For the majority of Chinese people, we have to face three important environment problems including desertification, water shortages and climate change. As we all know, we can not live without fertile land, clean water and fresh air so that we must love and protect our environment. Time is going by, we should act right away.At first, for land desertification, the Chinese government has formulated a series of laws to prevent desertification in the recent years. For instance, we can not cut down the trees that have been living for 20 years. After we plant trees, we can get some economic subsidies from the government. In grassland areas, it is very important for people to prevent overgrazing. Of course, every one should do things for our land. Second, for water shortages, the Chinese government has already formulated some laws and irrigating water conservancy to solve the problem. We must control birth to reduce the number of population. On the one hand, the government use of legal means to shut down the factories that produce large numbers of harmful chemical waste flowing into our water and killing river. On the other hand, the government also appeal that people have this awareness of saving water. We can recycle water and try to use less water to do the dishes, cook and wash clothes.Third, for climate change, one thing we all do to help solve this problem is to walk or use a bicycle when possible. The carbon we produce is less than that produced by a car. So, when we go to work or need to travel long distances, we can chose public transport instead of a car. At home, we should try to use as little energy as possible. When we do not use anything electrical, we should not forget to turn off them. The more and electricity we consume, the more carbon we are letting off. I think that we still have a long way to go to solve all the problems in regard with our environment.
