小学英语课程与教学论教学大纲一、课程基本信息中文名称:小学英语课程与教学论英文名称:Curriculum and Instruction of Primary English课程编码:14110C课程类型:专业课总 学 时:48(理论学时:24; 实践学时:24)总 学 分:3适用专业:小学教育专业先修课程:教育学;心理学;教育心理学;课程与教学论;大学英语开课系部:教育与心理科学系二、本课程的性质和任务小学英语课程与教学论是教育与心理科学系小学教育专业主干课程之一,是实践性很强的一门学科,在本专业的课程体系中占有重要地位。本课程的授课对象是小学教育专业三年级的学生。这些学生在基础阶段已掌握英语语音、语法知识,具有一定的词汇量并在听、说、读、写方面受过一定程度的训练,达到或接近大学英语四六级水平的要求。该课程的目标是培养具有理念新、能力强、教学基本功扎实的科研型小学英语教师。通过本课程的学习,让学生了解外语教学的普遍规律以及这些规律在英语教学中的具体应用;帮助学生熟悉国内外各种外语教学流派的基本教学指导思想和原则,以及教学过程;培养学生学会分析英语课堂教学和根据不同情况采用不同教学方法的能力。学生应能运用本课程所学的理论知识和掌握的教学技能开展小学英语教学实践,包括能根据教学要求制定明确的教学目标、灵活使用教材、采用合适的教学方法、设计多样化的教学活动、运用现代化教学手段、重/难点讲授清晰等,为教育实习和走上小学英语教师岗位打下坚实的基础。三、课程教学的基本要求(一)理论教学基本要求“小学英语课程与教学论”是一门实践性很强的课程,教学中要求以培养学生的教学实际能力为主,但也不忽视对英语教学相关理论和方法的学习和理解。通过本课程的学习,一方面引发学生对小学外语教育的意义、价值、目的、特点和方法等问题的理论思考,另一方面,通过大量的教学技能和技巧的培训,培养学生的实际从教能力和语言运用水平,力求使小学英语教师的专业化教育做到起点高、专业性强,既重理论,也重实践,着眼于小学英语教师的终身学习和可持续发展能力的培养。(二)理论教学内容体系Section one: Understanding Foreign Language Teaching in the Primary School1children as language learners1.1 The differences between L1 and L2 acquisition: 1.2 The differences between children and adults (the characteristics of children)1.3 Childrens differences in learning2 The quality of a good English teacherAt the end of the section, the students can:Know the differences between L1 and L2 acquisition: Understand :the characteristics of children; The quality of a good English teacherMaster the multi-intelligence theoryTeaching keys: The quality of a good English teacherThe multi-intelligence theoryTeaching difficulties: the multi-intelligence theory Section Two: Understanding the National English CurriculumAt the end of the section, the students can:Know :the overall aim for English language teaching in China Understand :the objectives for primary English; the requirement of Level 1-2 in the English curriculum. Section eight:Assessing learning with childrenAt the end of the section, the students can:Know : What is assessment, tests and evaluation What are formative assessment and summative assessment;Understand: ways of assessing learningMaster: how to use test to assess learning. board wring;Teaching keys: ways of assessing learning How to use test to assess learning .board wring;Teaching difficulties: What is assessment, tests and evaluation(二)实践教学内容和基本要求目标:为学生提供理论与实践结合的机会,培养学生的的教学实践能力;内容:实践教学主要针对第四、第五、第六章设计;形式:通过学生分组讲课,其他同学和教师评课来展开进行;要求;每位同学都需经历至少一次备课、讲课、评课、制作课件和教具几个不同环节。四、有关教学环节的要求及考试与评价(一)本课程组成部分:本课程分为三个组成部分:教学法理论课、见习课和实践英语教学1. 理论课一般采用讲授和分组讨论的形式。它的任务是让学生了解外语教学的普遍规律和这些规律的具体应用,帮助学生熟悉国内外各种外语教学流派的基本教学指导思想和原则,以及教学过程。让学生学会分析课堂教学和根据不同情况采用不同教学方法和教学技能的能力。2.见习课的目的是加深学生对教学法理论课的认识,初步了解教学理论在小学教学的应用情况,培养学生分析和评估课堂教学的能力。3.实践教学给学生提供一个具体实践的机会,让学生得以应用所获得的理论知识,培养初步的独立上课能力,并通过教学实践加深对教学法理论知识的理解。(二)本课程的评价内容及方式主要考察学生对所学英语教学法知识的掌握(对课内教材和教师的授课内容的掌握)和教学实际操作技能(教案编写、课文试讲、简笔画技能、书写技能、英语儿童歌曲、课件制作等)。考核分为两大部分:期末闭卷考试和教学实践技能。期末试卷为卷面理论考核,卷面成绩100分,占学期总评成绩的40%。平时的教学实践技能也作为考试内容,占学期总评成绩的60%。教学实践技能的考试分为六个部分,即教案编写、课文试讲、说课、简笔画技能、书写技能、英语儿童歌曲技能的考试,六项技能总分60分,每单项总分为10分。教学实践技能的考试于平时实践中教学进行。(三)建议及注意事项1.教学建议(1)贯彻“精讲多练”的原则,努力体现教学大纲的精神,狠抓基本功的训练。(2)教学时,由浅入深,循序渐进。(3)充分考虑到中国学生学习外语的特点,并注意汲取国外语言教材的先进方法。(4)在掌握小学英语教学法基本理论的基础之上,加
