I I. . 后视镜后视镜 REAR-VIEW MIRRORS 2 2. . 定义定义 DEFINITIONS 只适用于本法规。 For the purpose of this Regulation, 2.1 “后视镜”是指一种能在16.5 条中规定的视野内，映出车辆后方及侧旁清晰 景象的装置，不包括潜望镜这类复杂的光学系统。 Rear-view mirror means any device intended to give, within the fields of vision defined in paragraph/16.5., a clear view to the rear and side of the vehicle, excluding complex optical systems such as periscopes; 注1：对于M 类和N 类以外的其它类型的机动车，以及所有其它不能安装部分 或全部将驾驶员封闭的车身的机动车，在一个正在修正和以后才能确定数目的条例 中给出的要求，可以应用吗？ */ For motor vehicles not included in categories M and N and all other motor vehicles not fitted with bodywork which partly or wholly encloses the driver the requirements set out in a Regulation which is being prepared and the number of which will be defined later, shall apply. 2.2 “内后视镜”是指2.1 条中定义的，可安装在车辆的乘客车厢内的装置。 Interior rear-view mirror means a device as defined in paragraph 2.1. which can be fitted in the passenger compartment of a vehicle; 2.3 “外后视镜”是指2.1 条中定义的，可安装在车辆外部的装置。 Exterior rear-view mirror means a device as defined in paragraph 2.1. which can be mounted on the external surface of a vehicle; 2.4 “监视后视镜”是指不同于2.1 条中定义的后视镜，提供不同于16.5 条中所 规定的视野，它可以安装在车辆的里面，也可以安装在外面。 Surveillance rear-view mirror means a rear-view mirror other than that defined in paragraph 2.1. which can be fitted to the inside or outside of the vehicle in order to provide fields of vision other than those specified in paragraph 16.5. 2.5 “后视镜型式”是指在下列主要特性方面没有差异的装置： Rear-view mirror type means devices which do not differ in respect of the following main characteristics: 2.5.1 后视镜反射面的尺寸及曲率半径； the dimensions and radius of curvature of the rear-view mirror reflecting surface, 2.5.2 后视镜的设计、形状或材料。 the design, shape or materials of the rear-view mirrors, including the connection with the bodywork; 2.6 “后视镜的种类”是指所有有一个或多个共同特征或功能的装置。 Class of rear-view mirrors means all devices having one or more common characteristics or functions. 分类如下： They are classified as follows: 类：内后视镜，视野按16.5.2 条之规定； Class I Interior rear-view mirrors, giving the field of vision defined in paragraph 16.5.2.; 类和类：“主要的”外后视镜，视野按16.5.3 条之规定； Classes II Main exterior rear-view mirrors, giving the fields and III of vision defined in paragraph 16.5.3.; 类：“广角”外后视镜，视野按16.5.4 条之规定； Class IV Wide-angle exterior rear-view mirrors, giving the field of vision defined in paragraph 16.5.4.; 类：“近程”外后视镜，视野按16.5.5 条之规定。 Class V Close-proximity exterior rear-view mirrors, giving the field of vision defined in paragraph 16.5.5.; 2.7 “r”是指在反射面上根据本法规附录7第2条所描述的方法测得的曲率半径的 平均值。 r means the average of the radii of curvature measured over the reflecting surface, in accordance with the method described in annex/7, paragraph/2 to this Regulation; 2.8 “反射面上某一个点的基本曲率半径（ri）”是指用附录7 中所规定的设备， 在通过反射面的中心并平行于7.1.2.1 中 所规定的b 线段，以及垂直于该线段反 射面的弧上测得的值。 Principal radii of curvature at one point obtained on the reflecting surface (ri) means the values obtained using the apparatus defined in annex 7, measures on the arc of the reflecting surface passing through the centre of the mirror parallel to the segment/b, as defined in paragraph 7.1.2.1., and on the arc perpendicular to this segment; 2.9 “反射面上某一个点的曲率半径（rp）”是指基本曲率半径ri 与r，i 的算术 平均值，即： Radius of curvature at one point on the reflecting surface (rp) means the arithmetic average of the principal radii of curvature ri and ri, i.e.: 2 ir ri rp 2.10 “后视镜镜面的中心”是指反射面可见区域的几何中心。 Centre of the mirror means the centroid of the visible area of the reflecting surface; 2.11 “后视镜组成部分的曲率半径”是指最接近弯曲形状的圆周的弧的半径“c”。 Radius of curvature of the constituent parts of the rear-view mirror means the radius c of the arc of the circle which most closely approximates to the curved form of the part in question 2.12 “车辆类型M 及N”定义见法规13 中5.2.2.条和5.2.3.条之规定。 Vehicle categories M and N means those defined in paragraphs 5.2.2and 5.2.3of Regulation No.13. 3 3. . 认证申请认证申请 APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL 3.1 后视镜型式的认证申请应由后视镜的制造厂家或其正式指定的代理人提出。 The application for approval of a type of rear-view mirror shall be submitted by the holder of the trade name or mark or by his duly accredited representative. 3.2 对于每一类型后视镜，认证申请应附有下列文件一式三份，文件包括以下内容： For each class of rear-view mirror the application shall be accompanied by the undermentioned documents in triplicate and by the following particulars: 3.2.1 技术说明，包括安装说明书，并规定后视镜所安装的车辆类型。 a technical description, including mounting instructions and specifying the type(s) of vehicles for which the rear-view mirror is intended; 3.2.2 足够详细的图纸，以便能够： drawings sufficiently detailed to enable: 3.2.2.1 确定分类； the class to be identified, 3.2.2.2 验证是否符合第6 条中所规定的一般要求； compliance with the general specifications prescribed in paragraph 6 to be verified, 3.2.2.3 验证是否符合第7.1 条中所规定的尺寸； compliance with the dimensions prescribed in paragraph 7.1. to be verified, 3.2.2.4 验证是否符合第4.2 条中所规定的、为认证标志所提供的空间位置的要求。 compliance with the positioning of the spaces provided for the approval mark and prescribed by paragraph 4.2. below to be checked. 3.3 此外，认证申请还应附有该后视镜的四件样品，如果试验部门提出要求，还应 提供辅助样品。 In addition, the application for approval shall be accompanied by four samples of the type of rear-view mirror. At the request of the laboratory, supplementary samples may be required. 3.4 在认证批准之前，认证部门应核实制造厂是否有可靠的措施来保证有效地控制 生产一致性。 The competent authority shall verify the existence of satisfactory arrangements for ensuring effective control of the conformity of production before type-approval is granted. 4 4. . 标志标志 MARKINGS 4.1 提交认证的后视镜样品应带有制造厂的商品名称或商标，该标志应字迹清晰、 易认、耐久。 The samples of rear-view mirrors submitted for approval shall bear the trade name or mark of the manufacturer; this marking shall be clearly legible and be indelible. 4.2 每一个后视镜在其保持件上应具有一个足够大的位置以供打印认证标志，当后 视镜安装在车辆上时，该认证标志也应能够被清楚地看到，该位置应在上述3.2.2. 条中所提到的图纸上示出。 Every rear-view mirror shall possess on its protective housing a space large enough to accommodate the approval mark, which must be legible when the rear-view mirror has been mounted on the vehicle; this space shall be shown on the drawings referred to in paragraph 3.2.2. above. 5 5. . 认证认证 APPROVAL 5.1 如果提交的样品满足本法规中第6 条至第8 条的要求，则批准该后视镜的认证。 If the samples submitted for approval meet the requirements of paragraphs 6 to 8 of this Regulation, approval of the pertinent type of rear-view mirror shall be granted. 5.2 每种认证类型都应该分配一个认证号码。认证号码的前两位数字代表认证批准 时，与大多数目前施行的主要技术修正法规结合在一起的最新修正法规的系列号。 目前，01 对应于1987 年10 月5 日生效的01序列修正法规。同一个认证部门不能 将相同的认证号码分配给以本法规为技术标准生产的另外一种类型的后视镜。 An approval number shall be assigned to each type approved. Its first two digits (at present 01, corresponding to the 01 series of amendments which entered into force on 5 October 1987) shall indicate the series of amendments incorporating the most recent major technical amendments made to the Regulation at the time of issue of the approval. The same Contracting Party shall not assign the same number to another type of rear-view mirror. 5.3 按本法规对某一类型的后视镜所做出的认证、认证扩展、认证拒绝以及认证撤 销或者正式停产，均应以
