With future urban development occurring along Guanguang Road to the south, and extensive open space areas to th

12、tablish an organizing framework for the site. This planting strategy will allow for unique plazas and gardens to sit within a unified streetscape framework that establishes hierarchy throughout the development.The street tree type and layout will play an important role in defining the landscape fram

13、ework. Formal street tree planting along the north/south streets will connect to the urban fabric along Guanguang Road. Informal tree drifts along the east/west roads will connect the surrounding natural environment through the site. Wide sidewalks along the north/south roads will contain small land

14、scape buffers which separate the street sidewalk from the retail/residential sidewalk. Along the east/west streets, the wide sidewalks will be primarily paved with informal tree driftsthat allow forum visibility and pedestrian access to the retail storefronts.Informal planting and undulating berms a

15、long the west edge of the project will visually screen the high speed rail and provide a natural backdrop that can be seen throughout the site. As this open space area enters the project between parcels 1 & 3 it will become more stylized and open up to large turf areas and plazas. This linear pa

16、rk will terminate ata large berm featuring an observation tower that will be a sculptural beacon for the Creative Indutry Park.Landscape berming around the project perimeter will borrow from the adjacent open space to help visually connect the project with its context. As the berms enter the project

17、 they will transition into streets and buildings in a variety of different ways. Parcel 4, the ceremonial heart of the project, will not have landscape berms. Retail buildings will define all four sides and connect to surrounding parcels with plazas and raised podiums.景观将作为构建场地结构框架的重要工具。本项目的景观策略将独特的

The perimeter planting will borrow from the forest along the north and east edges of the project and form a linear park that provides seating and recreation for nearby residents.A retail promenade that connects from the perimeter

33、edge of Parcel 7 through Parcel 6 and Parcel 4 creates strong identity for the project. This promenade will be defined by linear paving and informal palm tree planting that helps visually connect both the street and podium levels. The retail promenade and palm trees will continue through the heart o

34、f Parcel 4 where the palms will visually penetrate the podium level and provide a strong visual connection from the garden above to the retail below. Several plazas help define building entries and signify where stair cases and elevators are located that connect the active street level experience to

Using the landscape concept of merging nature with city the streets will have two distinct typologies. Streets oriented in the North

44、/South direction will evoke a formal character with linear allees of trees framing the street. Understory planting will help buffer pedestrians from the adjacent street traffic.In contrast to the North/South streets that maintain a formal urban character, the East/West streets will borrow from the i

45、nformality of the adjacent forest area to create drifts of trees that frame the street and enhance pedestrian connectivity from both sides of the street.Framing the southern edge of the project is Guanguang Road, which uses trees to split the wide sidewalk into a bike lane adjacent to the street, an
