Revision1Greet with the students2.Revise the new words together.3.Show a train ticket to the students,tell something about it ,including my favorite hobby is travelling, where I went,how was the trip ,and so on, then ask students,what were you doing when I enjoye

5、d my trip to Xiamen?/ , help the students to say I was climbing the mountains/,Then help them to answer I wasdoing sports while you were enjoying your trip/ Lead in learning the adverbial clause of time guided by when and while.Step 3.Presentation1.Get the ss to make sentences in 3,look at the pictu

6、res and make similar sentences .2.Help the ss finish each picture in class .3.Choose some students to write their answers on the Bb.4.Let the ss try to tell the usages of the adverbial clause of time guided by when and while.5.Show another Picture of Tiananmen Square to the ss on the Bb,say What is

Pre-listeningTake out the train ticket again,and say Last year when I was in Xiamen,I went to a lot of places of interest,I knew more about Xiamen. That means I explored Xiamen.Now Darren,Michael and Kangkang are

8、 planning to exploring Tiananmen Square,would you like to jion them?Step 5.While-listening 1. Look at 1b ,let the students listen to 1a ,Make the students learn what Darren,Michael and Kangkang were talking about, and then finish it.2.Play 1a again, the student and his/her partner listen carefully,

9、and finish 1b together.3.let Ss read the dialogue quickly and number the sentences.Then Finish 4 questions on the screen,1) Who is Darren?2) What was Darren doing while Michael was enjoying his trip?3) What did Michael invite Darren to do?4) What did Michael want Kangkang to do? 4.Help the Ss to ans
