In2024,touristsfromBritainreached8,359person-visits,a30.67%increaseoverthesameperiod

oftheyearbefore.Thisyear,however,duetotheimpactofEuropeandebtcrisis,thenumberof

touristsfromBritainisdecreasingslightly.FiguresfromHainanTourismCommitteeshowthatfrom

JanuarytoJulythisyear,thenumberoftouristsfromBritainstandsat3,409person-visits,a33.96%

decreasecomparedwiththatoflastyear.Nevertheless,inputfromBritaintoHainantourismmarket

enjoysagreatpotential,Hainancherishesthisentryandwilltakevariousmeasurestorevivethis

market.

Atthebeginningof2024,wehavedecidedtowriteHainanTourismEconomyReportjointlywith

theWTTC.Inthepasttwoyears,theWTTChasmadestudytoursanddoneagreatdealof

researches.Afterrepeatedrevisionsandperfections,wehavecomeupwiththisforward-lookingand

directoryfruit.StudyjointlyconductedbytheWTTCandOxfordEconomicsResearchInstitute

showsthattourismhasmadegreatcontributiontoeconomicgrowthinthepastfewyearsanditis

expectedthatthismomentumwillcontinue.Growthratefromtourismsectorisexpectedtoreach

12.6%,thisindexwillexceedanyothereconomiesintheworld.Fromthedecadebetween2024and

2024,tourismconsumptioninHainanwillreach110billionRMB.Basedontheannualaverage
