because it also runs on rechargeable battery in case of lack of mains power. the scale will also automatically switch off when it is in non-use condition; in order to save power.2. featuresoooooospecifications: max 60lb; min 0.44lb precision:0.011lb ac 110v and built-in rechargeable battery storage up to 8 unit prices. accumulate operation (0-99) auto shut off function to save power.3. description3.1. key descriptioneach of the keys are shown and described for you.zero the zero key zeroes the scale.tare the tare key subtracts tare values and changes the scale from gross mode (no tare) tonet mode.addstorem1 to m8c09 the add key will store and accumulate the value of weight and the amount. the store key used to store data in your scale. stores unit price value at 8 different locations. the c key is used for canceling the memorized data. the numeric key (09) is used for setting unit price data.this key is used for set the decimal position of unit price. .3.2. display description1. tare indicator: the tare led is located on the left side below the weight window2. zero indicator: the zero led is located on the right side below the weight window4. operation4.1 general instruction1. before starting using scale, please check whether the bubble is in the middle of the level; if not,please make appropriate adjustment.2. allow scale to warm-up for 10 minutes after switching on the power, for better results.4.2 basic operation4.2.1 zero the scalewhen there is no item on the scale (weight window displays zero), but the zero indicator light is off.press the zero key to turn on zero indicators.4.2.2 tare(1) place the package on the scale, and press the tare key, the weight window displays zero and the tare indicator light is on(2) to change the existing tare weight, place a new package on the scale, and press tare key andthe tare weight will be changed automatically.(3) to remove the tare weight, you must remove the object of tare weight, and press the tare keyand the tare weight will be removed automatically.note: when you use a special fixed container, you must place it on the scale before you power onthe scale. then the zero indicator light is on, and you are not allowed to use the scale under thecondition that the tare indicator light is on for a long time, otherwise the zero tracking function willdisappear and the zero drift will occur.4.2.3 unit price setting & store(1) use the numeric keys and decimal point key to set the unit price. when set the same unit price,the interval of typing should not exceed 2 seconds. when set different unit prices, the interval oftyping should be at least 3 seconds.(2) the setting of unit price can be done before or after you place the items on the scale.(3) press store, and the unit price window displays a . type in the unit price, such as 3.45$,press3, ., 4and5keys in turn and then press the corresponding key m1-m8. the unit price will be loaded and displayed in unit price window by pressing m1m8.4.2.4 weighingput the item on the scale and enter the unit price. the weight, unit price and amount will be displayed on screen automatically.for example: weight unit price amount(2.535) (2.50) (6.34)note: if the item weight is more than 60lbs, the window will display overweight symbol full.if the amount is over 9999.99$, the amount window will display the amount with the last two number.5. accumulator operation5.1 prepare to accumulatebefore accumulating, please make sure the platter is empty, the current accumulator value is reset to zero, and the weight reading is stable.accumulation operation(2) the scale will automatically return to the normal weighing condition after removing the item. then you can weigh another item (do not press the add key) or delete the data by pressing the add key.(3) if you want to check the accumulating data, please put away the item and make sure the weightshows zero. then press add key and you can check the accumulating times and total amount.please press any numeric key, and the scale will return to weighing condition.accumulate clear(1) you can clear the accumulated value by pressing c (clear) key at any time.(2) if you put the wrong unit price during weighing, you could press c and put the correct price.5.2 5.36. caution6.1 batterythe battery must be recharged properly after use of the scale without mains power. normally it ischarged for 1.2 hr for each use of 1 hr of scale. if it is used for long time, please charge itcontinuously at least for 24 hours. otherwise it will cause damage to battery.never connect battery in reverse polarity. ensure that the scales +ve is connected with battery +veand scales Cve is connected with battery Cve.when using the scale, if the unit price window shows lb, it means the battery runs low. if both of the weight window and the unit price window show lb, please charge the electronic scale immediately.remark: before you begin to charge battery, please turn off the scale first.6.2 water/ temperatureprotect your scale from heavy raining, water flooding and also from direct sunlight and hightemperatures (above 50 deg. c or below -20 deg. c). this scale is not a water proof scale.6.3 humidityprotect it from the constant humidity; do not install near humidifier.6.4 magnetic fielddo not install your scale near strong magnetic field. it may damage delicate parts of your scale.6.5 repair / maintenancedo not try to open the scale by your self or by unauthorized technical person. this may damage the scale permanently. please contact your nearest dealer / service station for emergency repairs.6.6 operation(1) check the ac indicator light to see whether it is on if you use the alternating current. if the lightdoes not shine, further check the power cord to see whether it is properly plugged in or whether thefuse is burnt. if necessary, open the battery cover and disconnect the battery to determine whetherthe light is damaged.(2) take and place the items lightly to make an accurate weighing.elect
