形容词、副词的作用和级 川庆公司培训中心胡在统一、形容词的作用：形容词可放在联系动词之后，作表语；也可放在名词或代词之后，修饰名词或代词，作定语。形容词修饰名词或代词，一般放在名词或代词之前；如修饰不定代词（如something, anything, everything, nothing），则放在名词或代词之后。比如：1. Her new dress is very beautiful.2. Carelessness is very dangerous.3. He is a good young man.4. Li Ming is an experienced worker.5. I have something important to tell you. 二、副词的作用：副词可放在动词、形容词或副词之前（有些副词可放在动词之后），修饰动词、形容词或副词，作状语。表示时间的副词可放在句首，也可放在句末。比如：1. Yesterday we all went to the park.2. This street is very long.3. He works very hard.4. We all went to the park yesterday.三、形容词、副词的级 （一）原级(即原形)：表示同级比较，常用asas(与一样) , not as(so)as (不如 ， 比不上)。比如： 1. Jim is as old as Tom. 2. This metal is as strong as that one. 3. John is not as old as Li Hua. 4. You works not as hard as he. （二）比较级：表示两者之间的比较，常用句型：more than(在形容词、副词后加-er或者在形容词、副词前加more)。比如： 1. John is taller than Jim. 2. He studies harder than you. 3. Their basketball team is stronger than ours. 4. Your school is more beautiful than ours.(三)最高级：表示三者及三者以上的比较（在形容词、副词后加-est 或者在形容词、副词前加most）。形容词最高级前的the必须保留，副词最高级前的the可以省略。比如： 1. Of the three boys, Jim is the tallest. 2. Jim is the tallest boy in his class. 3. John studies hardest in his class. 4. He runs fastest in his school.(四)最高级与比较级的转换：最高级可转换成比较级。 典型句子：Jim is the tallest boy in his class.=Jim is taller than any other student in his class. (单数)=Jim is tall than any of the other students in his class. （复数）四、比较等级中需要注意的问题：1比较对象必须前后一致（即主语与主语比较、宾语与宾语比较，以此类推）。 如： I like Mary as much as he. I like Mary as much as him. I like Mary as much as Tom.2. 比较级不能修饰比较级。如果比较级需要修饰成分，则用much, far, rather 或者a little, a bit. 如： Tom is more fatter than John. () Tom is much fatter than John. () Tom is a little fatter than John.
