第九讲 形容词和副词（一） 姓名： 学校： 年级： 【学习目标】：能掌握形容词和副词比较级和最高级的用法 ，并熟悉考题【知识要点】：形容词：修饰名词，放在be动词和系动词后和名词前面 副词：修饰动词和形容词，放在动词后面和形容词前面比较级：大多数形容词（性质形容词）和副词有比较级和最高级的变化，即原级、比较级和最高级，用来表示事物的等级差别。原级即形容词的原形，比较级和最高级有规则变化和不规则变化两种。一、形容词和副词的比较级和最高级 一般的比较级和最高级在形容词或副词后加-er或-est，如：small-smaller-smallest 以不发音-e结尾的形容词或副词直接加-r或-st，如 large-largest-largest 重读闭音节词尾是一个辅音字母的，需双写该辅音字母，再加-er或-est。 以辅音字母加y结尾的形容词和副词，把y变i，再加-er或-est. busy-busier-busiest happy-happier-happiest 但一些双音节及多音节形容词或副词前要加more和most，如： slowly-moreslowly-mostslowly difficult-moredifficult-mostdifficult beautiful-morebeautiful-mostbeautiful 但还有一些不规则的变化： good/well-better-best many-more-most bad/ill/badly-worse-worst little-less-least far-farther/further-farther/furthest 二、形容词和副词的等比句型 asas和一样 Imastallasyou. notas(so)as不和一样（在否定句中常用so来代替as）如， Icantrunsofastasyou. 另外asaspossible为固定结构，如，assoonaspossible,asquicklyaspossible等。 在以上两个句型中形容词或副词一定要用原级。 三、形容词和副词的其它句型还有： 形容词/副词比较级+than句型，在than后面的人称代词用主语和宾语均可。 HeisolderthanI/me. 但是如果人称代词后有动词时，则只能用主格形式。如， TomfoundmoreredleavesthanIdid. the+比较级，the+比较级结构表示两个变化一起发生。如，Themoreyoulearn,themoreyoullknow. moreandmore结构（指两个形容词比较级用and连接）表示持续不断的变化。如：Imgettingthinnerandthinner. 四、修饰形容词和副词的比较级的副词要用much,alot,alittle,abit,far等，very不能和比较级连用。如： TheblouseIboughtyesterdayisalittlelessexpensive. 昨天我买的衬衣比较便宜。 Toplaybasketballisfarmoreenjoyabletotheboy. 打篮球对于男孩子来说要有趣得多。 五、特殊1) 形容词最高级前一般都用定冠词，但当形容词最高级前有物主代词时，则不用定冠词。如：Today is my happiest day.今天是我最高兴的一天。 Give my best regards to your family. 请代我向你们全家问好。2) most 有时与形容词连用，前面用不定冠词或不用冠词，意为“非常，很，极其”，用来加强语气。这时它不表示最高级的概念。如：He is a most friendly fellow. 他是个极其友好的人。六、形容词的一些搭配，如： beglad/happy/pleasedtodo很高兴做某事 besorrytodo很抱歉，很遗憾做某事 besuretodo一定/相信会做某事 bereadytodo准备好做某事，乐于做某事 getreadytodo为做好准备等等。 【经典例题】： 1TheYellowRiverisoneof_inChina.
