following revised requirements to reflect the march 13, 2009 ansi recognition of the standard.1. revisions to align with iec amendment no. 1 for iec 60745-2-8, second edition2. revisions to add superseded requirement pages that incorporate requirements to be applied to shears and nibblers investigated to the requirements of the third edition of the standard for hand-held motor-operated electric tools safety part 1: general requirements, ul 60745-1.ul standards for safety are developed and maintained in the standard generalized markup language (sgml). sgml - an international standard (iso 8879-1986) - is a descriptive markup language that describes a documents structure and purpose, rather than its physical appearance on a page. due to formatting differences resulting from the use
