小学六年级英语上册 Starter unit A plan for the new school year教学设计一、教学内容:Part 1 ,2(第一课时)二、教学目标:1、知识和技能目标:能听懂、理解文本,并对句子做出相应判断。能听懂内容,并与朋友讨论自己的新学期计划。三、教学重点:理解文本,判断句子四、教学难点:运用短语与朋友讨论自己的新学期计划五、教学过程:Step 1 Warm up1. Greeting2. Free talk. Do you like holidays? Are you happy in holidays? What s your favourite holiday? What do you do in holidays? Hows your summer holiday? Great or OK?Step 2 Presentation1.Now we are going to listen to a dialogue about holidays. After listening, please answer a questionHow was Marks summer holiday?2.Next have kids open the books and listen again , then answer the questionsHave you got a plan for the new year? What are you going to do in Year 6? Try to underline the answers on books. 3.Then have kids open the books , read the dialogue and then try to finish the exercise Tick True or False . 4.After that check up the answers together, and help kids understand the sentences. Teacher can choose kids to explain the meaning of those sentences, make sure that every kid understands the meaning. 5.Reading exercise. Play the tape-recorder, have kids follow it several times, next read together, then role to read. Step 3: DrillFirst show pictures about the plan for the new school year. Help kids understand the meaning of the phrases. Have kids open the books, try to look and read the phrases. Next Choose some good English learner to make an example with the teacher. Have them answer the question What are you going to do in year 6? Help kids use the phrases to talk about the plan. Then have kids choose 3-5 phrases to talk about the plan for the new school year in pairs.Step 4: Practice Read and talk with your friends about your plan for the new school year.Step5: Consolidation write down the plan for the new school year.六、教学反思一、教学内容:Part 3,4,5(第二课时)二、教学目标:1、 知识与技能:能正确理解短语并与图片连线;能听懂、理解对话内容,并根据关键词给图片标号;能根据短文内容选出正确的单词完成练习。2、 情感态度:培养学生在竞赛中良性竞争的意识和习惯。在游戏中帮助学生建立学习英语的自信心。三、教学重点:理解短语,并学会运用四、教学难点 根据短文内容选出正确的单词填空五、教学准备:收录机,各种天气的图片六、教学过程:Step 1:Warming up1 .GreetGood morningGood afternoon. How are you today?2. Ss talk about their new school year plan。Step 2:Presentation1.Do you like to take a trip? How do you take a trip? By bus ,by train or by plane?2. First have kids open their books , read and join the labels to the pictures.Check up the answers by reading and acting out the phrases.3.Next have kids listen and try to number the pictures of Exercise 4. And then check up the answer in class or by gestures. Teacher can ask the question Whats the weather like? /Hows the weather? Help kids familiar with the new sentences.5.Then ask and answer practice. T: Whats the weather like?Ss: Its sunny/cloudy/raining/windy. After that change the roles to practice again. At last have kids practice in pairs. In this way, to teach the sentence How s the weather?6.Read paragraph 1, help kids fill in the blanks by choosing the correct words. 7.Next have kids fill in the blanks of paragraph 2 in the same way. Check up the answers by ask the questions:Q1: What does Kate do at quarter past five?Q2: Who does she want to see? Why?Q3: What does Kevin says on TV?Q4: What does Kate buy?Q5: Does Kate like the sweets? Why or why not?Q6: Does Kate want to eat the sweets again?Step 3: Drill1. Point to the pictures in 4,and ask your partner about the weather. Then change roles.2. Read part 5 loud.Step 4 Consolidation Exercise book六、教学反思一、教学内容:Part 6,7,8(第三课时)二、教学目标:1.知识和技能目标:能读懂、理解句子,并在地图上标上相应的序号。能读懂对话,并在地图上标上相应的序号。能读懂句子,并将句子排序,组成对话。2.情感态度目标:增强合作意识,敢于开口交流三、教学重点: 理解句子,给建筑物标号。四、教学难点: 问路和指路五、教学准备: 周边建筑简笔画六、教学过程:Step 1 Warm up1.Greeting2.Play a gametraffic police. Turn left/right. Go straight ahead. Step 2 Presentation1.Teach new words. Have kids open the books, listen carefully, and underline the answers to the questions on books.Q1: Whats in the park? Q2 : Whats beside the post office?Q3: Where is the school? Q4: Where is the phone box? Q5: Whats opposite the park? Q6:Where is the bus stop? Q7: Where is the fruit shop? Q8: Whats opposite the train station? 2.Next have kids listen and watch the PPT, help kids understand the meaning of the sentences.3.Then Have kids listen and watch again, try to fill in the numbers on the map.4.After that have kids listen and read after the tape.5.ask and answer according to the map on page 6.6.Next make an example help kids finish Exercise 7. Make sure the kids know how to do this exercise. (Teacher can move the shadow of the two kids photo while reading the sentences. And then fill in the number. In this way help kids understand the meaning of the sentences. )7.Then have kids read after the tape. And have a reading practice.8.At last , choose several pairs to act out anyone of the dialogues they have practiced.Step 3 Drill Ask and answer to practice the key sentences.
