课题:Unit 7 Topic 1 When is your birthday? Section A 授课班级:初一(15)班 授课人:李津津一. 学情分析本课题的教学对象为七年级15班的学生,该班大部分学生英语基础水平较弱,对于英语的学习缺乏积极性,班级英语水平两极分化严重。上课时,虽课堂学习氛围较好,但很少有同学会积极主动举手发言。英语学习的自信心和积极性还有待提高。二. 教学内容分析本课是第七单元话题一的第一课时,主要活动是1a和1c。通过Kangkang和Michael谈论英国作家J.K.Rowling展开学习,对话主要涉及到J.K.Rowling的作品、出生地点及出生年月。通过人物对话,学生将学习关于询问和回答出生年月与地点的表达方式并初步了解be动词的一般过去时;还能通过听、读的练习活动掌握十二个月份的表达法及其书写形式。三. 教学目标1. Knowledge aims(知识目标)能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读下列词汇并运用于情景对话中:writer, was, were, born, novel, fan能够熟练读表示月份的单词:January, February, March, April, May 等;能够用英语熟练应用关于询问和回答某人的出生地和出生月的表达方式:(1)Where was/ were .born? In(2) When was/ were .born? was/ were born in 能够正确使用be动词的一般过去时was/ were。2. Skill aims (技能目标) 能听懂有关月、出生月和出生地点的语段; 能根据图文就表达月、谈论出生月和出生地点的表达方式进行简单的交流; 能正确地读出十二个月份; 能正确地朗读对话,并能注意语音语调。3. Emotional aims (情感目标) 通过单词记忆竞赛,激发学生学习英语兴趣,锻炼其思维能力及反应能力;通过相关活动,培养学生关注名人的生平事迹并向他们学习的习惯。四. 教学重难点1. Key points (重点) 正确使用表达年月、谈论出生年月和出生地点的表达方式; 正确读关于月份的表达。2. Difficult points (难点) Be动词was, were在一般过去时中的应用; 英语中十二个月份的读、写。五. 教学步骤Stage 1 Warm-up Step 1 Greeting(问候)Stage 2 Pre-listening 听前活动设计意图:以热门小说引入,教授生词novel和writer,从学生熟知的著名作家郭敬明为切入点,学习如何询问出生地点和出生月份。初步学习重点句型,并通过教师提问的方式将句型进行第三人称转换,为后面的听力和用第三人称询问做好铺垫。 Step 1 Show a picture of Tiny Times. Let Ss guess “Who is the writer?” (呈现生词writer, novel) Step 2 Show a picture of Guo Jingming.(呈现生词fan) T: Where was he born? He was born in Sichuan.(T引导Ss说出) T: I was born in Haikou. Where were you born? Ask some students to answer this question? S: I was born in Ask and Answer (The whole class asks some student) Ss: Where were you born? S: I was born in ? The teacher ask some questions according to students answers. T: Where was he born? Ss: He was born in T: When was Guo Jingming born? He was born in June. T: I was born in June, too. When were you born? Ask some students to answer this question? S: I was born in (T: Which month? 由此引入月份的学习)Step 3 【1C】学习月份英文表达 listen to 1C.(听录音) Read after the tape.(跟读) Read the words after the teacher.(跟读) Read the words together.(齐读)Step 4 Ask and Answer (师生问答) T: Guo Jingming was born in June. T: When was born? Ss: He was born in Step 5 Show some pictures about the famous stars or sportsmen. Practice the structures .(The whole class asks and answers together 齐问齐答) A: Where was he/she born? B: He/She was born in Stage 3 While-listening 听力活动设计意图:出示J.K.Rowling和小说Harry Potter图片,以及设置的两个问题,分层听力,听录音回答问题,后完成1b细节题填空。由浅入深,帮助学生学习和理解对话。Step 1 Show a picture.T: Do you know this woman? B: He/She was born in (分组问答:前两幅图一二组问,三四组答;后两幅图三四组问,一二组答)Stage 5 Group competition 小组竞赛设计意图:调动课堂学习气氛,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,巩固和复习12月份的英文表达。Show some pictures about months, students try to answer the teachers questions about the months as quickly as they can.
