Discussion三、教学的重点和难点教学重点:通过阅读一封信来使学生学会如何写回信给出合理建议。教学难点:熟练运用写建议信的格式。四、教学资源人教版新课标英语模块六教科书计算机ppt幻灯片投影机五、教学步骤: 活动一:导入和写作前奏(Lead-in & Pre-writing)。After listening to a beautiful song -Thats what friends are forT: Its lucky if you have a best firend ,but can you always get on well with your best friend? Next, lets read a letter on p24 to find out whats happened to Xiaolei. Read for information: (individual work)Xiaolei has troubles with her best friend. List her troubles.(individual and group work)Its up to you to write a letter of advice.What advice can you give to her according to her troubles?(group discussions)Ok, discussion is over. Weve find out key points in our writing. Is it time to get down to our writing? First, I think it right for you to tell her what you thought and it wrong for her to laugh at you because smoking or not has nothing to do with being grown-up. Second, there is no need for you to feel embarrassed and awkward. Just say no to her offer of a cigarette because you dont have to do anything you dont want even if she is your best friend. Third ,you might as well as give her advice on harmful effects smoking will have on her. Smoking will affect her appearance,for example,the ends of her fingers as well as her white teeth will turn yellow . Besides, its easy to start smoking but tough to quit because you will become addicted to it physically,mentally and through habit as well. Whats worse,smoing can do g
