Change Yourself and not The World 要改变你自己，而不是让世界改变Long ago, people lived happily under the rule of a king. The people of the kingdom were very happy as they led a very prosperous life with an abundance of wealth and no misfortunes. 很久很久以前，人们在国王的统治下过着快乐的生活，生活富足，安居乐业。Once, the king decided to go visiting places of historical importance at distant places. He decided to travel by foot to interact with his people. People of distant places were very happy to have a conversation with their king. They were proud that their king had a kind heart. 一次，国王决定去参观一下远方的名胜古迹。他决定徒步旅行，顺便与他的子民有所交流。有这样一个和蔼可亲的国王，百姓们非常骄傲。After several weeks of travel, the king returned to the palace. He was quite happy that he had visited many places and witnessed his people leading a prosperous life. However, he had one regret.旅行几周过后，国王返回了宫中，他非常高兴，参观了很多地方，亲眼看见他的子民过着幸福的生活。然而却有一个遗憾萦绕在他心头。He had intolerable pain in his feet as it was his first trip by foot covering a long distance. He complained to his ministers that the roads werent comfortable and that they were very stony. He could not tolerate the pain. He said that he was very much worried about the people who had to walk along those roads as it would be painful for them too!徒步长途旅行的过程中，他的脚一直非常疼痛。他向大臣们抱怨说路让人很不舒服，石头太多了，疼痛难忍。他非常担心他的子民走在这样的路上也要承受一样的疼痛。Considering all this, he ordered his servants to cover the roads in the whole country with leather so that the people of his kingdom can walk comfortably.于是国王命令他的仆人们用皮革盖住所有的路，这样，人们走上去就舒服了。The kings ministers were stunned to hear his order as it would mean that thousands of cows would have to be slaughtered in order to get ，sufficient quantity of leather.
