这就要求译者在影视作品中必须 译出高质量的字幕翻译 同时 字幕翻译作为一种新兴的翻译素材 在翻译领域也受到 了诸多学者的关注 很多学者针对译者在影视翻译中采用何种翻译策略来满足观众需求 作出了深层次研究 本文也将针对电影 雪花秘扇 的字幕翻译策略作出研究 语域理论是韩礼德系统功能语法的重要组成部分 语域指情景语篇 包括三个变体 语场 语式与语旨 语场 即发生了什么 包括主题 内容 目的等 语式 即交际进 行的方式 主要分为书面语与口语 语旨 即谁在参加交际 涉及谈话者的角色 身份 双方的关系等 最近几年 国内外学者运用语域理论在很多领域进行了研究 在翻译领 域尤为突出 如对广告翻译 新闻翻译及小说翻译等研究 但是把语旨作为一种理论对 翻译进行分析的研究在国内比较少 而国外此方面的研究相对较多 如学者t i i n a p u u r t i n e n 2 0 1 0 t u r n e r 和w o n g 2 0 1 0 己从语旨视角分别对文学翻译 字幕翻译 及人物关系做出了研究 找到合适的翻译策略传递电影原语中所要表达的信息 本文在 总结国内外学者研究的基础上 从语旨的视角分析 雪花秘扇 的字幕翻译并探究其翻 译策略 结合韩礼德语域理论 本研究以贝尔对语旨的解析为指导 提出了本文的理论框架 并以电影 雪花秘扇 的字幕翻译作为案例 在此理论框架的指导下 作者运用定性的 研究方法 依次分析讨论了语旨的四个层面正式性 礼貌性 无人称性和可接受性在翻 译中是如何实现的 及其在实现过程中译者采用了哪些翻译策略 通过研究发现 在语旨的指导下 译者能更好的解读电影情节 了解人物个性及其 人际关系 在翻译中采用恰当的翻译策略如删减 添加 意译 重组 语义补充等来保 证字幕的翻译质量 语旨分析法不仅可以帮助译者译出高质量的翻译以满足目的语观众 的需求 而且还能提高字幕翻译的连贯性与易读性
