devices and other methods to control the unexpected energization, start-up or release of stored energy from machines or equipment that could cause injury to employees during the servicing and maintenance of such equipment. procedures will be developed, documented, and utilized in compliance with the requirements of 29 cfr 1910.147, control of hazardous energy as promulgated by the occupational safety and health administration (osha).本程序为设备维修和操作过程中使用锁定装置或其它方法控制可能对员工产生伤害的设备能源出现非预期的启动或释放提供指导。2.0scope范围this procedure applies to all employees (including temporary and contracted controlled. typically, this will include maintenance personnel, operators of equipment and machines, and activities, which take place during normal production if they are routine, repetitive, and integral to the equipment for production unless one of the following service employees - employees of other companies who annually contract to perform service work on arvinmeritor property on a regular basis, but are not supervised by arvinmeritor personnel. examples an isolating device physically prevents the transmission or release of energy. it includes circuit breakers, main disconnect switches, valves, and blocks or blanks. push buttons, selector switches and contracted work on arvinmeritor property on a project basis and are not supervised by arvinmeritor personnel. examples include construction workers, painters, and electricians.外部承包商 在阿文美驰公司内进行施工,非阿文美驰直接管理的承包商员工。包括建筑工人、油漆工和电工等。3.10servicing and maintenance - workplace activities such as constructing, installing, setup, adjusting, inspecting, modifying, and maintaining and or servicing machines or equipment. this includes lubrication, cleaning or unjamming of equipment and making adjustments or tool changes, where the employee may be exposed to the unexpected energization basic steps to be taken to perform lockout, tagout, and tryout (loto) prior to servicing or maintenance on equipment (equipment includes machines from this point on). the basic procedure applies to both simple loto for which no specific written procedure other than the basic one as written in this document is required and applies to equipment with complex loto for which specific written procedures are required. to be considered a simple loto, all of the following conditions must be reason for it. shut down the equipment in the normal manner, such as by pushing the stop button, closing valves, etc. as established by procedures for the equipment.关闭 the energizing isolating device(s), potentially hazardous stored or residual energy will be relieved, disconnected, restrained, or otherwise rendered safe.储存的能源 equipment must be cycled until the pressure has dissipated, or otherwise pressure lines must be disconnected or opened. the line or piece of equipment to be opened shall be completely drained, making hazardous chemical or thermal energy. if so, then the specific methods to perform the line breaking on the particular piece of equipment must be detailed in the equipments specific written lockout procedure.管线切断可能需要控制危险的化学品或热能。如这样,进行设备上管线切断的特殊方法必须有详细的书面特殊设备锁定程序。6.1.5verification - after the isolating device has been locked out and prior to starting work on the equipment, the start button or manual valve or lever will be operated to ensure that the correct device has been de-energized. after verifying that the equipment will not operate, return the operating control(s) to neutral or to lockout device will be removed only by the authorized person who applied the device. this means that a key to a lock must not be given to another person to use on that
