What kind of fruit do you know or like? 2. What kind of drinks do you know or like? Students can say out their ideas loudly. Then tell them that today we are going to learn a new kind of drink-a banana milk shake. Do you want to know how to make it? We will learn Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake?Write the title down on the blackboard.(设计意图:通过复习水果词汇。复习饮料引出新的饮料奶昔,从而引起学生兴趣,继而到处新课题。)Step 2 1a: 1. Introduce the ingredients and learn some new vocabulary.Let students see how to make a banana milk shake and tell them: We need lots of ingredients. For example: bananas, milk, yogurt, blender, knife, ice cream and so on.2. Look at the screen and have the students read after the teacher3. Lead students to learn some sentences: How many bananas do we need? We need two apples. How much milk do we need? We need a cup of milk.4. Students discuss two questions in pairs.5. Finish 1a. Ask the students to write the names of the actions on the blank lines. Then check the answers (设计意图:让学生知道做奶昔需要哪些原料,学习相关的词汇句型,为下文如何做奶昔做铺垫。)6. Demonstrate the process of makingAsk students to look at the screen and study how to make a banana milk shake. First show the process of making a banana milk shake. Then let students repeat. At last ask students one another to repeat by looking at the screen.(1)Peel three banana (2)Cut up the bananas.(3)Put the bananas and ice cream in the blender.(4)Pour the milk into the blender.(5)Turn on the blender (6)Drink the milk shake.Practice and act the process of making the milk shake. (设计意图:引导学生感受、学习怎样做奶昔。在动手动脑的过程中学习目标语言,掌握它。体现了在用中学,在学中用的教育思想。)Step 3 1b: Listening 1b Listen and put the instructions in order. Ask students to read the statements and make sure that they their meanings. Then play the recording for the students, let them rank it. Play the recording for the students. First time listen to it and order it, second time listen to it and check it. Check the answers together.Step 4 Listening (2a-2b )1. 2aDo you like salad? What kind of salad do you like? Do you know how to make salad? We will listen something about how to make fruit salad. Before that lets look at the screen and guess what we need to make fruit salad. Let them know that we need bananas, watermelons, honey, spoons, apples, yogurt and oranges Then discuss the differences between Countable and Uncountable nouns. Now lets listen to the tape and complete the chart. Please pay more attention to the Countable and Uncountable nouns. Play the recording for the students: First time listen to it carefully, second time listen to it and complete the chart, third time listen to it and check your answers. Check the answers together.2. 2bAsk students to know what they will do after listening. Play the recording for them and let them write down the correct amount in the chart. Check the answers.(设计意图:通过听力,加深学生的听力训练和对知识的深层运用。)Step 5 Pair work 2cAsk one or two pairs to complete the model conversation and read the model conversation to the class.
