英语 基础模块上语文出版社Unit 4 Time 第五课时合肥工业学校 经信部 16升学3班 胡婷婷一、教材分析 Analysis of the textbook1、课程定位本课程面对中职学生基础实际,低起点起步,归纳复现九年义务教育阶段的英语基本语言知识和能力,实现大纲基础模块中规定的基本要求的第一阶段的目标。2、课程理念注重基础、突出实用性;任务驱动、凸现趣味性;综合评价、强调激励性;富有时代气息,提高学生的人文素养,培养学生综合语言运用能力。3、基本话题介绍本课程涉及的知识有:生活中常见数字(Numbers)的读法;时间(Time)的表达方式;基本的列车时刻表达方式。二、学情分析 Analysis of our students学生已有基础新授课内容可能出现的学习障碍改进措施知识基础词汇基础vocabulary词汇词汇生疏联想记忆法语言基础grammar时刻表达方式不清楚如何表达时刻课下预习、课上练习技能储备听力技能listeningskills听力材料生词、数字、时间表达方式生疏,影响理解篇章大意先呈现听力中的时刻表、学习时间读法话题经验熟悉时间话题Time到达合肥的列车时刻表时间、列车车次的替换练习生疏小组分工、记录、分享三、教学目标 Teaching Aims 1、知识目标Knowledge aimsSs are able to learn some basic expressions about time.Ss are able to grasp the key information about the trains to Beijing in the listening material and fill in the missing words.学习有关时间的基本表达方式。把握听力材料中去往北京的列车的关键信息并能够将缺失的信息补全。2、 技能目标(听、说、读、写) Ability aimsSs are able to learn some listening strategies and try to use these strategies in the listening exercises.Ss are able to use English to talk about the timetable of the trains to Hefei for some related topics: the time, the train number, the ticket price.Ss are able to find out some useful words, phrases and sentences through reading the passage.Ss are able to work in groups and write a whole dialogue about the trains to Hefei.学生能够利用听力策略完成听力练习。学生能够用英语去谈论去往合肥的列车时刻表,包括列车的时间、车次、票价。学生可以通过阅读文章找出有用的单词、词组和句型。学生能够根据提示,以小组为单位讨论后,写出一段售票员与去往合肥的旅客之间的对话。3、 情感目标 Emotional aimsHelp Ss get familiar with the time expressions and acquire the right attitude to time and be on time in daily life.Help Ss to work in groups and promote their sense of cooperation.Enable Ss to experience the success and joyfulness of communicating in English.帮助学生熟悉时刻的表达方式,培养其对待时间的正确价值观以及守时的好习惯。帮助学生进行小组分工,培养其合作意识。使学生能够体会到用英语交流的成功与喜悦感。四、教学重难点1、教学重点 Teaching Important Points.Enable Ss to understand the timetable at the railway station with the method of predicting, getting general idea and identifying key information. Enable Ss to complete a new dialogue about the timetable of Hefei railway station in English by using the numbers and the expressions of time.使学生能够运用听力策略理解听力材料中的列车时间、车次等信息。使学生能够用英语完成一段关于合肥火车站时刻表的新对话。2、 教学难点 Teaching Difficult Points.Ss are not familiar with the expressions of time well. This makes it a bit harder for them to understand the timetable in the listening material. (Solution: Ss preview the passage after class and the teacher explains it before listening) Ss are not very confident when talking in English. How to help them use what they have learned to say something about the timetable of Hefei station? How to develop the interest in learning English?(Solution: give an example first and work in groups)由于学生对时间表达的多种方式不够熟悉,所以完全理解听力材料有一定困难(解决方法:学生课下预习、教师课上在听之前先讲解文章)。学生在用英语交流时信心不足,帮助他们如何运用所学知识去组织一段新的对话,如何保证他们有充分的学习兴趣和积极的学习态度(解决方法:给学生一个范例,让他们小组分工与合作)。五、教学方法Teaching Methods:task-based method(任务型教学法):给出相关听力、阅读、表达任务,以任务完成的形式掌握知识。group work (小组合作):小组分工、记录、分享。六、教学过程 Teaching Procedures:ActivitiesIntentions Stage 1 Lead-in &Warming up Review List the table of cardinal numbers and ask Ss to see if they can say the numbers in order.To review the numbers and make a preparation for the later study.Play a game: pick out two students to say their mobile phone numbers in English quickly and let the other students to guess.To arouse students interest in the following topic.Stage 2 Pre-listeningReview the time expressionsShow Ss the timetable of the railway station on PPT and let Ss read the time one by one.To get students ready to fill in the missing time of the dialogue.The study of new words, phrases and sentences.Explain the whole dialogue, especially the new words, phrases and sentences.To help students grasp the basic information of the listening material.Make a predictionAccording to the timetable, guide Ss to predict the missing words in the dialogue.To help students to use the listening strategies. Stage 3 While-listeningListen to the tape (two times)Listen to the tape carefully.When Ss listen for the first time, ask them to fill in the missing words and check whether their predicting answers are right or not. When Ss listen for the second time, ask them to try to get the main idea of the whole dialogue.To improve students ability of checking the answers by themselves first.To develop students ability of listening for the detailed information.Stage 4 Post-listeningCheck the answersCheck the answers together and show the answers on PPT.Listen to the tape for the last time.ActivitiesActivity 1Role play: ask Ss to act out the whole dialogue. To help students use what they have learned today and develop their interest in learning English. Activity 2 Make a new dialogue: Show Ss the timetable of Hefei railway station and ask them to make a new dialogue according to the one in the textbook. Work in groups and act it out.Stage 5 SummaryAsk Ss to summarize what they have learned today by themselves and make supplement timely. At last, the teacher highlights the importance of time and encourages Ss to be on time i
