From my personal perspective,several measures can be taken.For ong thing,relevant authorities are to make sure that some equipments are available in case of emergencies.For another,activites are to be launched to enhance the safety awareness of the pupils as their parents.Only in this way can we build a safe campus for the students.What Do We Expect Form a FriendEveryboby needs friends.Just as Abraham Lincoln put it.the better part of ones life consists of his friengships.In order to lead a happy and fulfilling life,we cant neglect the importance of real friends.Different people have different opinions on roles of friends.some people expect their friends to guide and lead them like a mentor.Others expect their friends to share the glory and burden like families.Still other hope that friends can relax them and bring then more enjoyment.Friends seem to be capable of any parts.As for me,I think there is no ideal friend out there ready to wait for us.We need to look for them,communicate with them and get ready to accept an imperfect friend.Also we should be conscious to know that we cannot expect too much from a friend.Only after we have recognized the above points can we get real and lasting friends.Power Supply All Night Some college students hope that their dormitory can have power supply all night so that they can stay up as late as they like to study or to surf the Internet.And also,regardless of severe coldness or blistering heat,they can enjoy the air conditioner,or at least the smaller electrical appliance to carry them through.In fact,there are some opposing voices.Some people think power supply all night will give students chances to indulge themselves in computer games.Even those who are really studying may disturb their roommatesrest.Secondly,it would be a huge burden for the power resource.Thirdly,it may lead to disasters such as fire.As for me,I applaud the idea of power supply all night because of all the benefits mentioned above.I admit it does have shortages,but I think we should learn to deal with them.Cutting off power is a simple but irresponsible way which is not humane enough.Should Primary Schools Offer a Foreign Language Course?It goes without saying that a forgign language plays an important tole in communication in an open world,so much so that many primary schools or even kindergartents offer foreign lauguage courses.They strongly hold the belief that“well begun is half done”。However,peoples idea vary about this phenimenon.In the first place,some hold that learning a foreign language is a must in the future and children have to learn one sooner or later.They believe “the earlier the better”and their children should not fail at the starting line. In the secound place,others believe“Haste makes waste.”They argue that learing a foreign languhhage does not necessarily make sense.And in no circumstances can a child master a foreign language or not depends on the childs interest. Only when his interest is stimulated can a child really like learning a foreign language.On Saving the Nature When we are surfing the Internet,we cannot fail to notice the massive news about some sudden disadters that cause a major loss to masses of people as well as the country.I cannot help asking:what on earth contributes to these disasters?Some insist that it is the laws of nature that are responsible,and thus,humans are at the end of their wits.However,more and more peole are holding the belief that human activities play , important role in the process.People do not protect and preserve nature resources and exploit them excessively.As far as I am concerned, urgent measures should be taken before it is too late to save the measures should be taken before it is too late to save the nature for the sake of our survival.In the first place,humans should learn from the misfortunes that have happened.In the secound place,humans should stop exploiting the nature destructively. The Returing of Traditional Chinese Culture Recently,the issue of traditional Chinese cultrure has been brought into public focus.For instance,it is reported that many primary schools have set up courses of sinology.It is of vital significance for the public to acauire knowledge on traditional Chinese culture.For one thing,traditional Chinese culture is the essence of Chinese civilization with more than 5000 years.Thus,by learning it people can enlarge their scope of knowledge,enrich their experience and adapt themselves to the complicated society.For anoher,the rehabilitation of traditional Chinese culture can cotribute to a harmonious society. To summarize,it is highly recommended that all Chinese people-young and old-should inhetit the merits of traditional Chinese culture.In the first place,we are well-advised to read classical books or attend lectures on this issue.In the secound place ,we have the obligation to encourage others to learn it. Knowledge and DiplomaIt is widely believed that a high diploma will bring us a brigt future.Many people think high-level diploma is equal to profound knoeledge and exceptional ability.Companies are inclined to hire a jib candidate according to his diploma.In one word,there does exist a social reality-the higher diploma one gets,the more popular he becomes.On the contrary,others claim that competence or knowledge means more than diploma.First and foremost,a diploma is only the acknowledgment of ones educational experience rather than a guarantee of ability.Thus,the depth of ones knowledge cant be measured by the level of ones diploma.Besides,many knoeledgeable people dont possess a high diploma.From my standpoint,no one should ever equate a diploma with knowledge,because a diploma is nothing but a proof of a short-term study while your true ability and knowledge come from your hard work and lifelong devotion. Studying Abroad Struggling to enter a good university and graduating with a bachelor degree used to be a big event in young peoples lives.But nowadays,they are not confined to the universities within China.More and more universities abroad have opened their doors to Chinese students.As a college student,I feel blessed with such opportunities.In addition to the advanced facilities and prestigious professors,different teaching methods,various cultures and the communication with people from different parts of the world can be very valuable experience that will benefit us a lot in the future.After graduation,people with the advanced knowledge and newly-acquired skills can serve our country better.With the understanding and appreciation of other cultures,they will develop good communication between China and the world.In short,studying abroad is beneficial to both the young people and the country.
