Oxbridge College KMUSTTeaching Records昆明理工大学津桥学院教学大纲(2011 2012 学年 第二学期)Department系 别: 外语系 Specialty专 业: 英语 Class班 级: 英语102 Course Name课程名称: 基础英语4 Period总学时: 96 讲课学时: 96 实验学时: 上机学时: Lecturer讲授教师: 杜益梅 Date填表日期: 2012年3月5日 津桥学院教务部印制基础英语4课程教学大纲课程名称:基础英语3课程代码:16001724课程属性:学科基础课学分:6学分学时数:96学时适用专业:英语专业(第 四 学期) 先修课程:基础英语1、2、3一、课程的性质、目的与任务:本课程为知识和技能相结合的英语专业学科基础课程。本课程教学内容涵盖听、说、读、写、译等技能和跨文化交际能力的培养,以达到教育部颁发的大纲规定的要求。课程既注重基础语音、语法、词汇、篇章结构、语言功能等基础性的知识的介绍与传授,同时又注重训练学生能在交际中运用所学知识;既狠抓学生的基本功的训练,又要使学生能理论联系实际,将所学知识灵活运用在交际场合,真正掌握语言的社会功能。基础英语教学既突出打好扎实的基本功,注重各项语言技能的全面发展,培养语言交际能力的内容重点,又兼顾培养学生对文化差异的敏感性、宽容性和处理文化差异的灵活性。同时,在教学内容的组织方面还注重对学生思维能力和创新能力的培养。二、课程教学的基本要求:本课程要求学生通过两年的基础学习,认知词汇达到60007000个左右,并能正确而熟练地运用其中的35004500个,掌握其最基本的搭配;能在一般的社交场合与英语国家人士交谈,做到正确表达思想,语音、语调自然,无重大语法错误,语言基本得体;能够熟练掌握主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句、定语从句、状语从句和同位语从句以及倒装句和各种条件句等句型,了解并掌握直接引语和间接引语、动词不定式和分词、动词的各种时态以及主动语态和被动语态的用法;初步掌握句子之间和段落之间的衔接手段;能读懂英语国家报刊杂志上的社论和国际新闻报道,具备能读懂由英语国家出版的有一定难度的文学作品的能力;能掌握文章的主旨,能够在理解的基础上抓住要点,并能运用正确的观点对其思想内容做出评价;能在30分钟内写出长度为150-200个单词左右的短文,做到内容切题,结构严谨,条理清楚,语法正确,语言通顺,表达得体;能根据提示在10分钟内写出长度为60个单词左右的便条和通知等应用文;能独立完成课程中的各种翻译练习,要求译文的理解忠实于原文,语言通顺,表达流畅。本课程在教学安排上采取以教师课堂授课为主,学生课后自学为辅的方式。在日常的教学实践中,注意采用启发式的教学手段,以此来加强师生之间的互动,活跃英语学习的氛围。同时注重多媒体课件的使用,提高课堂教学效率。在立足于课本教学的同时又不拘泥于教材,积极补充有益的课外阅读材料,提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。平时注重收集学生对教学工作的意见和建议,从而不断改进教学方法与手段,促进学生英语学习水平的进一步提高。3、 教学内容学时安排:本课程6学分,96学时,内容如下:章次课程内容课时备注(教学形式)1Unit 1 Nerver,Give in, Never,Never, Never 8讲授,讨论,作业2Unit 2 Space Invaders8讲授,讨论,作业3Unit 3 Alienation and Internet 8讲授,讨论,作业4Unit 4 A View of Mountains8讲授,讨论,作业5Unit 5 The Tapestry of Friendship 8讲授,讨论,作业6Unit 6 A French Fourth8讲授,讨论,作业7Unit 7 The Monster8讲授,讨论,作业8Unit 8 The Discus Thrower8讲授,讨论,作业9Unit 9 How I Found My Voice 8讲授,讨论,作业10Unit 10 The Idiocy of Urban Life8以学生自学为主,教师检测11Unit 11 The Story of an Eyewitness8讲授,讨论,作业12Prepare for the final exam8讲授,讨论,作业合 计96【教学内容要点】Unit 1 (8 periods)1st period (prelude):1.
