To train students abilities of listening and speaking. 3. Students can use the target languages to talk about the weather.3. Emotion goals Enhance the awareness of protecting the environment.Teaching key and difficult points Students can use the target languages to talk about the weather.Teaching aids Multi-media.About the law 在本课时的开篇引题环节中,通过一些天灾图片,让学生认识到天气预报的重要性、严肃性。从而引出我国颁布的中华人民共和国气象法。Teaching ProceduresStep I Revision and lead-in.1. Greetings and duty reports. 2. listen to and sing the song Hows the weather. Lead the students to find out the target languages: whats the weather like? Hows the weather? Its(通过句型点题,同时出示一些天灾图片来引出中华人民共和国气象法,让学生明白天气与我们的生活切切相关,天气预报是很严肃的事情,不是任何人都可以发布的,乱报、谎报是违法行为。)Step Presentation1.Learn new words by showing some pictures about weather and practice the target languages.2.Then the students read the new words loudly. 3. Guessing game.Show some pictures which are covered. Ask students to guess . Students guess freely to see who is right.Step III Looking and matching.1.Ask the students to look at the pictures and make a dialog like this: Whats the weather like in Picture a ? /Hows the weather in Picture a? Its rainy/raining.2. Let the students match the words and the pictures. Finish 1a .Step III Listening.1.let he students listen to the tape and finish 1b.2. Check the answers.Step IV PracticeShow some pictures of some cities with weather signs. Ask Hows the weather in .? or Whats the weather like in.? Ss answer the teachers questions and then ask and answer in pairs.A: Whats the weather like in Beijing/ ?B: Its raining/ sunny/StepV Looking for the rulesThe teacher shows the weather words including n. and adj.
