Teaching ProcedurePart one Teaching MaterialI Analysis of the Teaching Material This lesson is the Warming-up and Listening and Speaking part of Unit5(英语(基础模块))(P35-45)It is the lead-in part of this unit.By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:(1)Enable students to know the particular injuries(2)Enable the students to master some knowledge of first aid.(3)Enable the student learn to use first aid treatment for burns correctly.(4)Enable the students to learn how to give their correct suggestions about first aid when others are in danger.(5) Let the student learn the reading skillBefore the class, teachers must recall the related expressions about aid words of students as well as some available descriptions to express the feeling when needing helping. Consequently, they can improve both their oral English and cultivate their interests in learning this topic. II Analysis of the students and treatment of teaching materialSome students have a better basic knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, but most of them are poor. Ill give different assignments to students according to their practical situation. Then showing some pictures about injury makes the students know different kinds of dangers in our daily life such as snake bite, bleeding, a sprained ankle, choking and so on. (2)Whats more, the teacher tells students the meaning of the word first aid . Meanwhile, let the students line the important points of it to help them understand better.(3) Thirdly, look at the pictures on page 33.Students should be asked to know how to give first aid when they happen.Step 2 Further discussion(7mins) Show the simple, then asking student to finish it within 5min.InjuresDrowning BurnsBleedingCutsChokingsuggestionsStep 3 Talking( P41)(10mins)Teacher asks students to look at the pictures of Exercise 2 on p39 and then use the useful phrases to give first aid instructions for each situation. Make sure that .Step 4 Pre-reading(7mins) Ask student look at the picture on page 33 and discuss the following questions : (1) What has happened in the picture? (2)What sort of injures the girl will have? (3)What kind of first aid would you perform in this situation? Step 5 While-reading(7mins) 1.Skimming Ask the students to read the title of the text and the headings within 1min. Skim for general idea. (1)What is the topic of the text and how is the information organized? (2)How many parts are the texts divided into and what are they?After a few minutes. 2. Detail reading Teacher leads the whole class read the whole text and gets the detail information of each paragraph. While reading, there are some tasks need to be finished: 1. What can skin do for our body? 2. How can we get burnt? 3. How many types of burns. What are they? 4. What the characteristics of each type of burns? 5. How to deal with the burns.Step6 Summary and (2mins)Summarize teaching keys and difficult points.Summarize the features of speaking terms. These burns affect both the top layer of the skin .教学反思本节课主要讲了有关急救的情境及措施方略、导入和热身都很新颖。PPT和图片是同学们直观体会与了解急救的相关信息。此外,本堂课由图片导入课堂,为进入课文的学习做好了铺垫;整堂课过程围绕着对课文的理解,从整体感知到细节理解,再到对课文的复述,问题由浅入深,设计的也比较好。虽然基本成功,但也存在严重的问题:由于是中专学生的学习水平参差不齐,我在自己的课堂中总感觉学生不能适应自己的教学方式:学生上课回答问题不积极,参与教学活动的积极性不高。只是一味的听老师讲和做笔记。听课效率不高。经分析,原因是自己上课方式与学生以前的老师的教学方式不一样,学生不能适应;课堂上我用的英语过多,语速过快,学生跟不上、听不懂。而自己也没有很好的了解学生的实际情况,学生不回答问题或不参与教学活动,只是一味的埋怨和批评,致使学生上课更不敢回答问题,生怕回答错了以后老师会不高兴。基于以上情况,我认为作为学生学习的把关者,首先要有正确地意识,应充分认识到:一节课有没有效益,并不是指教师有没有教完内容或教得认真不认真,而是指学生有没有学到什么或学生学得好不好。如果学生不想学或学了没有收获,即使教师教得很辛苦也是无效教学;或者学生学得很辛苦,却没有得到应有的发展,也是无效或低效教学。所以今后应该采取的措施以及注意的应有
